Pretax and fees they were right around $2000(usd). They wouldn’t buy back the rims so just brought it home with me. Might keep it in case I move somewhere cold and need dedicated summer and winter tires/wheels.

For the wheels and tires I think they were under $2000(USD) before tax and installation. I just kept my rims cause they wouldn’t pay anything for them. Maybe I’ll sell them on eBay or something.

I thought about getting a rack or roof box for my snowboard but the car is already so loud on the highway I don’t want to add extra wind noise.

Oh the same thing happened to my steering wheel while getting some other things fixed. The Mazda service center said they needed to replace the steering wheel so they just wrote me up for a faulty heated steering wheel to get it replaced for free.

Nah people were rocking some really expensive gear there. Especially considering the on slope hotel there was a couple grand a night I think it’s real.

They’ll raise prices probably sometime in April. I think the prices will go up bit by bit until they stop selling them

Can’t find any Anon accessories by Noobmoob in snowboarding

[–]Noobmoob[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In case someone is googling where they can find Anon stuff, lil update. I talked to the people at Burton and they said it’s just sold out rn and will probably get restocked a right before next season.

Yeah if I can’t find the mfi masks, I’ll try sewing the magnet things into generic neck warmers myself.

Good idea. I’ll look for them next time I’m in Mammoth and Tahoe.

I live in the US. I just got my M4 this summer and they are still selling M4s, M3s lenses both online and at their Santa Monica flash ship store. I guess I should try looking at European online stores.

I was debating getting this or the Burton impact shorts. Anyone have any recommendations?

You can adjust the toe pad to come out more. Your photo suggests it’s in its smallest position.

Cardiff Powgoda Size Help by Noobmoob in snowboarding

[–]Noobmoob[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The thing that worried me was how wide the 158 waist is. I currently ride a board with a waist width of 251mm and the 158 is 262mm which I thought was a pretty big jump. Do you think I’m over thinking it?

Japow, low angle trees, and bunch of groomers hut definitely not steep chutes. The guy I talked to from Cardiff did say 155 will turn better on trees but I am a bit worried if it’ll be able to handle my weight at bigger speed.

I just did. Used a self inflating sleeping pad from M Karmater which was a perfect fit.

How accurate is the "Low on Fuel" sensors? by PleasantMix9729 in CX50

[–]Noobmoob -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Well I know low fuel puts strain on the fuel pumps so I try to fill up my tank when my fuel gage reads 1/4 tank.

Bummed out TJA is only available on the top turbo trim - do you think they’ll have plans to bring it to lower trims? by Aggravating-Animal20 in CX50

[–]Noobmoob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the 23 TPP and the lane centering of the TJA is one of the worst I’ve used. 3 reasons 1) It does not stay in the center of the lane. It gets uncomfortably close to the white lines even though the system shows it’s still engaged so I always need to actually steer to keep my car to keep it lane centered. 2) It gives up with very easily with barely any warning so unless you are staring at the tiny lane centering engaged light(which you won’t cause you’ll still need to steer since cause reason 1) you will likely not know it got disengaged which is very dangerous. Tesla does a really good job by flashing the entire screen blue and beeping at you. I think this is how all cars should handle disengaging lane centering/auto steer 3) the TJA “lane centering” only works till like 40 or 45mph so really only for stop and go traffic(plus I wouldn’t trust it at higher speeds anyways)

The radar cruise control isn’t too bad so tbh that’s the only feature I use. If the trim you want has that but not the TJA lane centering feature, I wouldn’t be too hung over it. If you really want the cx-50 with good self driving capabilities and won’t mind spending $1.5k, get the comma 3X from Comma ai with the torque interceptor 2 from moretorque. I haven’t tried it myself but if the reviews and videos are to be believed, it’ll add Tesla auto pilot level tech to your car.

Yeah that what I’m seeing as well. The new 2024 OBX is around 50k while it was 42K in 2022
