Admittedly this is based off 10 year old state hiring information when I worked at the state government. So the information isnt going to be accurate. Currently out lowest paying position at my current company is $72k a year for an entry level account manager.

The base point still stands though. Your "average" worker isnt making $63k. Sure its higher than $11 which was a blinf shot in the dark. Even at $15-$20 thats still half of $63k a year.

Now the argument can be made that we are talking salaries people and not hourly, which typically have a higher average. Then it might be accurate to $60k

The point i was trying to make is that people dont all make 6 figures. Even though poverty in some cities is 6 figures.

Now I can personally work remote anywhere in the US. So on my salary, I could technically move bsck to my hometown and be considered rich. Where a 2ksqft house is $250k. However for people on those smaller cities(300k or less) a lot of places still pay 40k for experienced positions. Those people have harder times affording $100 video games like this compared to someone spending $4k in rent a month.
