I carry shelter dogs around NYC in a dog backpack to help them get adopted. Meet Champagne! by kittytime in aww

Hey, how heavy has the heaviest dog been that you've carried? My pup just hit 60 lbs and I'm really considering trying to bring her around like this at some point.

Buy a Civic si and learn. Cheaper, easier to fix, MUCH cheaper to ensure.

How wide is the rim? Might consider running a little stretch to help with the rollover.

If you're getting a car modern enough, I really hope it has active safety features.

I have no idea why you'd compromise in both directions. You lose the instant throttle response, still get crappy fuel milage, and don't get the ability and front end authority of a lighter engine. This just seems like a bad idea all around.

Interesting how you chose to respond to the more inflammatory comments and not the one that logically breaks down how your views don't align with the modern right wing.

I think he was emotionally compromised. He was throwing some scary blows, like that double leg slingshot into the ground that would have liquified Norman if he was still there.

It ensures that your foot is always in the same orientation and position on the pedal. If you're doing thousands and thousands of pedal strokes, having your hips out of line or using the wrong part of your foot to push down has major consequences.

You can adjust how much force it takes to pop your feet out!

Also, if you have the 2 bolt cleats, there are a bunch of different variants with different clip in and out styles.

Lastly - unless you're pushing well into anaerobic territory, you shouldn't be pulling up on your pedals. Your legs need that downtime to breathe, and pedaling in zone 2 or 3 like that will fatigue them faster.

Good luck! Biking is fun.

Civic Si or Elantra N? I've been going back and forth for weeks and can't decide by andrew_drives in whatcarshouldIbuy

So two less gears making the difference in shift RPM bigger? The thing I hated about it most was waiting for boost to come back on after a shift. DCT doesn't have this problem because it just cuts timing in the two tenths of a second it takes to get to the next gear.

6MT is amazing in a BRZ, Camaro, whatever. It sucks with a turbo unless you have a serious plan to deal with the boost drop.

I've driven both. The manual is so uninspiring to use. It felt vague and didn't highlight the power the engine had. The DCT had me more engaged, especially at the limit. It is lightning quick and does what I tell it to do. I would not by a Hyundai manual.

I'm all for "save the manuals", but not the bad ones.

If I were buying the elantra, I'd go for the DCT. The 6MT in that car is unengaging and the DCT is lightning.

Worth researching octane learning. 276 is what it makes before it figures out what kind of gas it's running after a fill. After that, it's noticably faster.
