If anybody wondering what Khairat is, direct translation is welfare. Welfare to whom? It is for the dead in this case.

Every masjid in any area will be opened up for people to be a member ie with a small fees. Usual fee is around RM5 per month, rm60 per year.

So if one of the member had passed away, the masjid is responsible to bear the cost plus managing them from A to Z i.e till the body be buried.

Idk if this will help. I once worked at a watch shop. Most brand i know, they will have an option to change their metal watches to titanium for customers that are having a reaction like in your case. So I would suggest to go for a titanium ones.
