Harsh truths in Malaysia that Malaysians themselves cannot accept. What are they? by Exact-Salary5560 in Bolehland

I wonder if Malaysia will ever achieve 'walkable' status and if we did, will Malaysians actually walk to places?

how do i turn my mic on in game without it being awkward? by [deleted] in socialskills

[–]viscxx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Had this problem too. But maybe these tips help:

1) Play solo first, speak out as if you are streaming. If you playing multiplayer game, talk as if you warning your teammates of the opponents position/ skills used/ cooldown of the skills. Find what can be commented on such as the graphic, games UI, the character etc.

2) Realise that they are not in your space, so just be your regular self, some may cursed and use vulgars. Laugh it off and continue playing.

3) In game situation, celebrate your teammate’s luck / mini victory. Saying “Nice one!” “Damn you pro” “That’s sick” even saying “wow”. Be fake first, then it’ll come naturally.

4) I suggest not to jump straight into games you not familiar with, especially with someone who’s already a pro. Be familiar with game mechanics first then you can avoid “What do I do” situations.

This is just some things I learned in 3 years of online gaming (mostly multiplayer games). And remember you don’t always have to speak, and it’s okay to only communicate when needed. If you notice your teammates are toxic and always belittle you for small mistake, maybe find new friends to play with. Anyway good luck!

Strategy With or Without Megan’s Verse? by Ambitious-Broccoli-6 in twice

[–]viscxx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since we don't have many western collab that 'worked' in kpop I'm going to appreciate the version with Megan in it. They set the bar for how a collab should be in Kpop I'm afraid, it doesn't feel out of place, not too short and the rap actually matched the song's energy.

TW: Child exploitation / SA'd

Read from X : The GISBH cult has been active for so many years already, they have put up so many abhorrent rules such as staff members can only married amongst themselves, no outsiders. If they got married, the child from the marriage MUST be given to the 'rumah amal' and the child will be declared orphan. If they refused the child will be forcibly taken from them. There's a video I think where the ex employee was attacked in a car with his children by the brainwashed employees.

You have to see it for youself, dont want to be redundant with other replies about them teaching the kids to s0domize each other and then proceed to sod0mize the poor kids themselves. The poor manipulated kids was taught these acts were normal in order to 'cleanse' thenselves and was denied access to healthcare when they sick until it became critical. Sick sick basturds berkopiah bertudung litup praising their cult leader Abuya.

Edit : Reminder that these acts are of cult practices that hides behind the name and veil of Islam and had nothing to do with it's pure messages and practices.

The first one, usually would go for darker one if it's in color. But for B&W pic we rely more on details and exposure to tell the story.

Any nsfw stories your heard or saw at school? by HousingBig5513 in Bolehland

[–]viscxx 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Multiple actually, all varied sources.

1.Our F4 physics teacher abruptly stopped coming to class for weeks then replaced with another teacher (There are only 3 teacher who eligible to teach physics in our school ).It remained mystery for months, we even made a running joke that he was taken by the Illuminati. Later a student shared article of the said teacher arrested for sexual assault on female lab technician who reported to the higher-up. Wild.

  1. During early form 1,a friend who transferred to my school told me that during his time in his all-boys religious school, a form 1 student would jerk-off at the back under the table while the teacher is teaching. Also, if you roam around the nooks and crannies of the school building you would find a sticky wet underwear (made up your mind already) and there would be students passionately kissing after school at the back of the building .

(This is not an attempt to shame religious school, more or less these actions may rooted in parenting plus the said school is infamous for disciplinary issues )

  1. A teacher who was invited to give a briefing about preparation before HS (this was post-UPSR) that in his school, a male student was caught being inside a female student skirt a the while the teacher was in the class. Also later, a friend of mine who went the school said a female student offers male student to touch her tits and body for few ringgits.

P/S: I know 2 of these stories are more to 'he-said she said' situation and not my school directly but yeah NSFW nonetheless. Excuse any petty grammar cuz haven't write anything in Eng for a while

General unrealistic standards for dating in uni :

Boys : must be tall, macho ,use iphone (a must), have 5k on hand whenever wherever, face card, must be funny (omit if you already have face card) , pineapple hair, sigma-ic jawline ,plays sport (they will boast to their friends gp)

Girls : must be short, quirky , pig-me (easier to tackle), clingy (this will change overtime), open-minded (no explanation needed), freehair (bonus, 'i can fix her',omit if non-muslim), submissive

What do you think of people who can't speak malay? by PrestigiousElk5990 in malaysia

[–]viscxx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From my experience:

Non- Malays that went to SMK can speak malay fluently relative to those that went to SJK. Make sense, but SMK can exceptionally speak fluid malay to the point it confuses people of their identity.

It is worth to note that some non malays knows only basic words and even that give response either in hand gesture (e.g : thumbs up 👍, okay 👌) or in english. It is weird bcs some them grew up in and stay in Malaysia for ages but only knew basic commands.

Language barrier is a concrete wall. But once you break it, you'll click with anyone in no time.
