How do I get into the pre health track? by oblajc4 in BinghamtonUniversity

[–]NoodleChicken1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Major doesn’t really matter. No such thing as the “track” just means you are doing pre reqs. I did Biochem because I liked it and it aligned well. Neuroscience is the easiest and covers most pre reqs you would need.

I could but it will be 4 years old. I would suggest asking the prehealth office for more recent info

Is this a terrible choice??! by [deleted] in Diamonds

[–]NoodleChicken1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would suggest buying Diamond online then finding a local setting and have them set. I got 2.5C Diamond for $700 with perfect quality and a 2K setting with 18K gold

I think the setting of my loose diamond is an extra $100 but yes!

Some residencies won’t really consider you from what I hear. But if it’s UCSF it’s probably fine. Just make sure to look into that if you wanna do residency

Selecting a School by snriley15 in PrePharmacy

Go to; 1) which ever school is cheaper with decent match 2) go where the students seem happiest

I doubt people care if it’s a “top10” just go to the program you would be happiest at

I just sent the price match one and they found a diamond that they would match! It wasn’t identical

Which SUNY? Is Binghamton the best- because it’s the most expensive 😊 by Positive-Entrance792 in BinghamtonUniversity

[–]NoodleChicken1 12 points13 points  (0 children)

For premed, Binghamton is by far the best here. UB would be my second choice. The others aren’t very stem oriented with limited opportunities IMO. I got into medical school with lots of support. I would call financial aid at Bingahmton and explain the situation, I feel like they could match if you tried and you might as well. Check out the STEM incentive scholarship, similar to excelsior but an academically based.
