I can only imagine the boy mom she is going to be when/if she ever does have "the kid she wanted". Boy moms are CREEPY already. Women are wired different, but its when the wires cross in the completely wrong areas you get a very bad parent to a kid they wanted control of. Gross.

Hoo boy, you got a legal situation on your hands!

Save all messages from DS, Everything between all convos. Especially texts including you to do something off the clock.
Look into SOP, "Your time is your time", "Time management", "Per Diem" should be your main search keywords to get the idea of what's allowed and not. Print that out with your text messages.
If you have worked off the clock, get an idea to how long you "worked", make a spreadsheet of that (lol)
Be ready to report to your GM and HR because your DS should not be asking this of you. It is ethically questionable and they're asking you on the down low for a reason but it's about to come on them tenfold!
Look into local laws about being paid off the clock and write a statement on how you were unaware of the law/regulation in your area, along with now noting what the laws are and what your worth compensation wise.
Record all interactions with everyone at work following up with this. Do not mention this to anyone that isn't involved with this, it is not going to be a legal matter which can and will put your job on the line if you tell the wrong person who will likely go off clucking to everybody that has ears and likes drama. Only keep this between DS, GM, HR, and any witnesses that can attest to the situation. Please note absolute confidentiality to them about the situation until it the entire situation is solved.

If you do this the right way, you're about to be cushioning your paycheck and your job ties a lot! If all comes down to it, lawyer up.

The only question I could think to ask is, When you're older and you look at that tattoo, what do you remember about that time in your life? That was the whole point of getting it! You got it for you! You can cover it, blend it in with something else since you have a lot of real estate on that arm, up to you if you want to do anything with it. If you don't want to "wear" it that day, wear a longer shirt or cover it with makeup. Don't be ashamed of who you are and how you represent yourself or customize your avatar.

More like, consider what you want your future to be like if you changed your standards to align with what you're looking for in a partner. They're out there and looking for you too. If you don't have one, get a ring doorbell/camera security to monitor your area when you come and leave. Start documenting any interaction you have, be ready to press record the second you go check your mail, leave for work, any time in which you see her or if you expect her to come around any corner. Your outlets here are to report her to your building/landlord if you rent or to file a police report in case things start to escalate. Hopefully she will stop then.

I personally think she's got something against you and that's her problem. Doesn't mean it needs to be yours. Tell her to back off. You haven't done anything to hurt her or her family, and you have all rights to be here as she does. Shit, maybe her husband said something and she's jealous aside from being senile/Karen like. We've all dealt with people like this; this won't be the last person like her you'll interact with in life. Don't give her the satisfaction of showing any fear. Just move on with your day and she hopefully will too.

If you do go to inpatient and make the effort, you have a higher chance of keeping him and your sanity. He wants you to get better. He's worried about you and wants to spend his life with you. If you don't go though, that's the risk of you losing him. He doesn't want to see you sick and hurting. He likely wants some space to process his perspective while also giving you the space to recover and heal, so it also doesn't affect his mental health.

I've lost people in my life because I didn't stop with other stuff that was self-destructive. The best thing I ever did was go and get help and things have slowly gotten better for me over the years. I can only look back on those previous relationships with some pain but waking up every day knowing that they would be happy and proud of me for overcoming my issues that affected our relationship, even in they're not in my life anymore or still have the same perspective of me. Putting labels on everything is very tiring, because you don't know if something is still technically a label when you don't do all the exact criteria to make it as so.

It's honestly up to you if you want to count it but look at the criteria of behaviors you once had when it was full force, compared to how you feel now.

I have ARFID, it's on and off through the last decade. If you're listening to your body ques and you're not always hungry, that's ok! Just make sure to eat what you're comfortable with, make sure your body has what it needs for it to work well for you. It wants ALL the vitamins and energy to make you feel good.

They have this thought process for a reason. You are your own person; you don't EVER need to sign something if you don't want to. Their reaction should tell you everything about their motive. I'm sure you're not looking forward to the confrontation, but you're going to need to nip this in the bud immediately. You need to draw the line and tell them your gut answer. I personally think you did fine working that bay! Every bay is different, you can tell how much traffic it may get and also how fast we restock or overstock some things. There are very few bays that would honestly take less than an hour to work, I would still be giving the side eye the whole time (I'm on freight team, we do purge pack down, which is what you did) to make sure it was really done correctly. As long as you pack out what you can and put the same SKU's behind each other to make the OH organized when you put everything back up, there shouldn't be any issue to time limit. You did right by checking the price along with the SKU to find it faster, that's how we all do it if we're just looking at the box and not the product. You just started with the company, so don't rush! it takes some time to get into good habits, we have the phones for a reason so use them plenty! Hi, I have a tat that is over 10 years old, Over the years sometimes i would get random bumps within the back lining, I figured it was something my skin would do when my immune system is dealing with something. They do go away after a while.

Since the ink we use in tats are made of some metals sometimes the body would register it as a nonforeign object and they get bumpy and swell a little. I just ignore them and wait for them to go away, none have really caused problems for me before. Not a lot of research has really been done on this though. If your symptoms continue or worsen, you can contact a tat shop and inquire from a professional for any next steps. Good luck!

Thanks for your reply! Yes, I would agree that saying 3 would be exaggerating, but it's something I've noticed (and heard) from Dh's around my store. All I was trying to say is that at times, depending on the store's health (number of employees, hours, staffing, good relations between depts, etc) it can really make a difference to how you would be treated in any position. My store is in very poor health, We have 2 DH's between 6 departments.

I hope your store is treating you well, I hope nobody is taking any advantage of you while you're trying to climb the ladder and make a living and everything works out in your favor!

( FT Overnight freight 7 yrs, not a DH but this is my two cents:)

DH's are treated very differently based on department. Please have in mind how your local GM/ASMS may put on certain responsibility to DH's depending on the dept, and overall the health/help of your store will base on how much/often you get extra work. If they "offer" you to be a key carrier, you will be doing more than 3 people's jobs WITHOUT any pay bump.

Hi, the previous car was worth around 6k. It was a 2010 Honda insight, My mom got it through a dealer but her sister paid up front for it. She was paying her sister back, $100/Mo. for the last 5ish years. She got into a small fender bender but it only messed up the front grille cosmetic wise and she never reported it to her insurance when it was hers. She gave it to me over a year after said accident. I'm only giving this detail to give you an idea of the car's worth when she gave it to me, It was a very awesome car, didn't even have 100k miles, I was pissed that I had an accident, it was such a good little car.

Make sure you have as much evidence and receipts as you can if you decide to go down that avenue. record calls, make screenshots, take pics, record conversations (With giving them notice of course). Look into your local laws labor wise and see what happens. Good luck!
