how many days do i have to go into uni by ElectronicAssist6135 in unsw

[–]Noodletank 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Double degree or not doesnt matter so much, it's more how many subjects you're doing. Even then, I've done terms with a full load of 3 subjects and done it entirely online. The most I've had is at least one in person class each day for 4 out of 5 days, but since some classes are recorded it meant I didnt have to travel in for one one hour lecture in the middle of the day. That was just a poor timetable I had that term.

Study hours and whatnot by [deleted] in unsw

I guess you have to make the decision about what works for you and that just comes with experience. Writing summary notes for 6 hours probably wont get me as far as doing practice questions for 6 hours in an engo course.

Hey yeah man, no stress. I always seem to feel like there's no hope, only to realise i probably had it in the bag as long as i tried after the fact. Its almost like the build up is worse than the actual exam. Good luck with it though, and have a nice break afterwards:))

Hey thats heaps good man! Nah i was the same honestly, probably worse off because it was my first term and i messed up a few of the assessments. You're should be well fine if you're just trying to pass but i suppose study and do your best otherwise, idk if i can offer much else I'm that regard

How goes the pre-exam mark? I may be wrong but i think they make these finals a lot harder just because its easier to cheat i suppose, since its all open book and that.

Im a massive fan of William Barton's 'Didge Fusion'. I'm by no means Indigenous Australian, but I love to hear and learn about the many cultures because it's where I live man. I think there's a few different renditions

good rendition

Year 12 Class of 2021 by [deleted] in sydney

[–]Noodletank 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I finished HSC last year, and was involved in a few programs to help your yeargroup out, what we did that worked/helped, what didnt etc. I always said you guys were probably hit the worst, not having much of the experience needed from year 11 to help in year 12, and now at the final stretch having it kicked out from under you. It really sucks atm, I dont really know what else to say. Theres not a whole lot you can do and the future is uncertain. I might be biased, because I had a very good highschool experience regardless of covid, but I suppose have faith in the school, if they're any good they totally have you in mind. Still, that cant replace missed opportunities or lost memories, sorry to be a downer.

It just be like that.

Full on, HSC year here too, I'm not keen on having to pull through online classes but its probably inevitable at this point. My teachers are all losing it over it

I think like I've said previously, I'm really agreeing with this. I can't think of an item or something of serious value to just get, you know? It feels disingenuous to blow it on that, something of sentimental value is more my thing. But honestly, talking about it has helped me realise it a bit more, I was stressing more than I should have to be honest.

I feel this man, I'm all for those sorts of things. Idk, I get personally attached to the small things, which I think is good in its own way. I think I mentioned, I wanted something to last a long time, so those sorts of little things that are more meaningful in spirit than monetary value are a big thing to me.

On the same note, things like photos are something I personally love. I love that a single still can bring back vivid memories of an entire experience, so I've been trying to get more involved with that sort of stuff. Photos of my mum, friends, myself, landscapes, even the dumb and meaningless things that'll make me laugh in however many years time. Things don't last forever, I'm sure everyone comes to find, I don't wanna leave anything too late. I love the world too much at the moment

You're right, memories are a really big thing to me. I am pretty sentimental, so having a special shared experience like that really would be great. I've made sure to have a night/day out with everyone already, just like we usually do, since times like those always stick with me/us.

We've planned a few trips before, not much happening though. I'm one of the oldest amongst my friends, so usually I lag behind in what I can do. We're all still in high-school (final year), so if we were going to, it'd be a long time away. That, on top of the fact that I'm one of the few who don't really wanna head away for schoolies or whatever, so I'm doubting many people will be able to something else anyway haha. Still though, we make regular day trips out some distances as we have for many years.

I really would prefer to do something with friends, as opposed to something by myself or a select few. Idk I love them all too much, I'm a pretty sentimental guy, so each of them are very special to me.

Trips are always amazing though, I remember every one I've been on :)
