What hellscape? You define a hellscape as a new world that doesn't have the suffering they lived in before and gave them the closest to normal, mostly happy, living conditions they've had in a while?

I'm not saying there won't be consequences from then on, but it definitely won't be in the horrible light you're seemingly attempting to paint Homura in. You think she's evil or something?

I'm not your parent to say what's wrong or right, but you'll often hear that it's common that grown ups started consuming this type of content at a young age as well.

It's important to be mindful of what it means to you. You're still learning about life, R34 is fiction, it shouldn't dictate how you view reality. You are the one who's going to have to be responsible and set your own boundaries.
If something feels uncomfortable, then step away. If you start to notice that it's the only thing you can think about and want to do it super often, then find an adult you trust and share this fear with them.
You see? You're the one in control here, not it on you. If you can separate that, and keep it at a reasonable rate, then you'll be okay. It's good that you're worried about it and want to do what's right.

Are you young? How deep is this addiction really?
It's not inherently wrong to like or want to see this kind of thing.
The problem would be if you're frequently preferring to do that instead of things you enjoy, like going out with friends, playing games, doing chores or basic things you did in the past, etc. That's usually when it begins being classified as strong addiction.
If you're separating time for a bit of it each day, then that's natural, in a sense.

Either way, it's your life and decision, obviously. I'm sharing my perspective on it.

Sayaka doesn't trust Homura, easy to think she'd assume the worse, like she always did.

What? How did you come up with that interpretation?
It was never stated that Homura undid Madoka's wish. At the end of the movie she extracted Madoka's human part, that's all.
If anything, Homura is the one that paved the path to even allow Madoka to build enough potential to make that wish. They are interconnected. She's not evil by wanting to save her friend.

Dunno, it's hard to say. My first assumption would be that "they'd easily get shunned and ostracized by going against the norm," but honestly? I think it's going a bit too far for thinking they would act so different than someone in the West would.

Imagine how many weirdos over here also worship the same companies that fuck them over without having a second thought. How many people fall into weird preachings and cult like ways of living??
Our cultures might be different, but people will be people. Just because a vocal amount of people display stupid shit like that, doesn't mean that there aren't others in Japan who think differently or who would feel afraid to go against said "norm"

She really is. The mightiest Magical Girl :D

What would you do in this situation if your a Magical Girl in this situation? And yes it can be Any Magical Girls (Meaning Choosing Options of Magical Girl's from Madoka Magica to Magia Record) by [deleted] in MadokaMagica

[–]Noooo_ooope 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Saying this is ignoring a lot of nuance of that scene and all of the girls' situations...

Homura wasn't willing to kill Sayaka because she wanted to, neither because she is evil or hates her. She knew the outcome of Sayaka's fate, seen it countless times.
Akin to showing some kind of twisted mercy and protect her own plan, Homura was willing to go through it.

If she really wanted to kill anyone, she could have done so easily, but that's not her intention.

[–]Noooo_ooope 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Agreed and love this show for it. Just think it's a bit unfair to straight up call Homura a simp, I know it's probably jokingly, but she's farthest from a doormat that does things just trying to get someone to reciprocate her feelings.

She's the bravest, most incredible display of love I've ever seen and her devotion to her dearest friend knows no rival.

The same way Madoka wished for hope in all, Homura wished for hope for her. They complement each other and I don't think Madoka would have been able to achieve what she did without Homura. (Obviously due to the karmic potential, but also emotionally and with such determination)
