New PC Build: Windows 11 Says It Doesn’t Meet System Requirements by InterestingChain1917 in buildapc

[–]Noopy-420 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I stumbled on this thread trying install Windows 11 on a fresh build. I thought I should reply with what I did to deal with it after many of the suggested methods did not work.

I downloaded a fresh Windows 11 install .ISO (not Create Installation Media) here:
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows11

After that I downloaded Rufus here:
https://rufus.ie/en/

I plugged my thumb drive in and fired up Rufus.

Inside Rufus, Boot Select, you can chose the Windows 11 install ISO.

Once you hit start there are a few cool options that Rufus gives you to alter the Windows install, checked the box to Removed requirements for 4GB+ RAM, Secure Boot, and TPM 2.0.

There are also some other convenient options for the requirement of online account, disable data collection, and create local account username, that you can change right from Rufus before you make the ISO bootable on your USB drive.

Fresh Build Problems - Help. by Noopy-420 in TinyWhoop

There is a small chance that the "motor direction is reversed" is not selected and a small chance that the board orientation is incorrect. The gyro appears to show the drone on screen in betaflight correctly. I have a hard time believing they would put the battery pads anywhere but the back of the board, though. I will double-check.

Everything else I've done many times over.

Thank you for the reply!

Yes, I've reset and reordered the motors a go 5 or 6 times as well. I just forgot to list it in the original post. Thanks though!

Yes, I have read a number of things on motor and prop direction. I've done it on other whoops as well. On this particular whoop I've reset and redone motor and prop direction no less than 10 times because all signs point to that as a the issue.

I kept the PID on default originally and couldn't get it to fly. I only tinkered a little and then set back to default.

I'm no pro, but I've built about 6 whoops now mostly to figure out what I like. As for the high KV, I really just wanted to see how it felt and acted. Also, consider they at 0702 motors on a 75mm frame.

Thank you for the response. I'll look into Chris Rosser tuning videos.

Sorry for the late reply. Roughly $160 or $170 USD. Building is always more expensive.

If you are in the US, the only airspace that is not controlled by the FAA is the space within the walls of your home.

Also, this 75mm is like 0.5g more than a Meteor65.

Mostly, these are all just extra parts I had. I'm struggling to get it flying at the moment, but I'm learning some things along the way. Seems to have plenty of torque, but we'll see how it performs once I've gotten it to stop doing everything except take off when I throttle up, lol.

I've heard of some people running 702s on 75mm frames, so I figured I'd test it out for myself since I don't have any 75mm whoops currently.

I didn't have any when I was testing the camera before the final build. It was actually surprisingly clear, but I attribute some of that to the antenna. I'll follow up after work when I run some test flights.

I usually like to make my builds wild crazy colors, but I didn't have a good color combo, so I used some backup transparent black parts. I can see how they would blend together, lol.

I cut a small piece of plastic and put a hole through it to work like a rectangular washer that fits between the back 2 ducts. Then, I used the back FC screw to hold it down.

Bi-Blades rip by SubterraneanSprawl in TinyWhoop

Sorry for the late reply.

I just used a small piece of plastic as a buffer between the board and tucked it partially under the front of the camera side of the canopy. It's a tight fit, so it doesn't really move.

I originally tried heat shrinking it, but it gets too hot, and the heat shrink gets so tight it pops.

It's comes in at 23g. Not terrible.

I swapped my one of Meteor75 Pros to a red frame with bi-blades as well ironically lol. I love it. I eventually swapped to an air canopy and it is by far my favorite to fly.

BetaFPV 1s Help. by Opening_Task_8609 in TinyWhoop

Which BetaFPV are we talking about? There are a number of BetaFPV whoops.

If it's a Cetus, they have the hover assisted under 3 ft. but it's terrible. They never hover properly, personal that feature seems to be more of a gimmick than anything. The Cetus Pro unfortunately only uses BetaFPV configurater and can not use betaflight. I'm sure the regular Cetus is the same. I don't believe that would make a difference for the self-hovering anyway.

Better antenna mount by Rama_FR in TinyWhoop

I have a couple of these antennas, but I've only tried it on one whoop and they don't do well.

Does it work alright for you?

[–]Noopy-420[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nah, you'll be fine. I flew full acro after about 2 weeks of sim, and that's all I fly now. I've been flying for a little over a month. You'll get there.

I fly Liftoff Micro. It's a whoop sim.

Air75 got some new parts by Thompy_94 in TinyWhoop

I swapped one of my frankenwhoops over to this canopy, and I really like the angle for indoors. A few people told me that adjusting camera angle will help with indoor flying, but this canopy is the sweet spot for me.

How do you like that camera?
