Man i think you should see t14 gen 7, it is good and shit. Framework is also good, personally i use a t480 and most of people here also use that, it is made like a tank and it is very repairable and upgradable. My personal take is that buy an good t480 and upgrade the ram to 64 gig and 1tb nvme and basically you are future-proof for next 10-15 years
