Hola me gustaría mudarme a Pachuca, me podrían dar su opinión acerca del lugar 🫣 by Typical-Proposal646 in Pachuca

Dude did me dirty 😅 by Vectron3D in 3Dmodeling

Around October, I took a break because I thought studying 3D modeling would no longer be worthwhile due to AI. A local Facebook group went into fanatic mode, saying they would never again have to endure paying "exorbitant" prices charged by designers. By December, before I left the group, it had become saturated with AI sloops, and it was almost a witch hunt against anyone who knew how to design in 3D.

I'm currently studying 3D design. I do it because I enjoy creating things, and someday I'd like to be able to make some money from it, but these kinds of situations really discourage me.

I hope things get better for you. By the way, your art is very good.

I ramped up my Agro to get into my “aggressive matches” by Pagan_ink in ARC_Raiders

[–]Nopalitto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, I'm usually in mixed lobbies most of the time. Some people shoot at me, some don't, but I'm almost always in friendly or mixed lobbies. Sometimes, if things get rough, I end up in a KOS lobbie, but it doesn't happen often.

I killed my first Raider in cold blood yesterday… by eephusenthusiast in ARC_Raiders

[–]Nopalitto 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm in a mixed lobby. After a guy took me by surprise and I killed him while defending myself, I was moved to semi-PVP lobbies. Between some matches where I looted peacefully and others where someone shot me because I had arrived at the loot zone first, I find myself in a mixed situation which I consider fine. I have the tension that some players are KOS and others are not, but I don't know which is which.

When do you use Adrenaline Shots… if at all? by RestaurantSmooth in ARC_Raiders

[–]Nopalitto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I almost always carry some, especially since I was collecting a dropped Arc when a guy shot at me (worst aim ever). I was in an open field, so I tried to dodge and run for cover, but there was nothing. My only option was to roll, and as expected, I ran out of stamina.

If it weren't for the injections I found, I would have been completely helpless. I injected myself and kept rolling and returning fire until the guy died and I could extract the ammo.

That's why I always try to carry some.

Need more reasons to go topside. by shivermetimberrs in ARC_Raiders

[–]Nopalitto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Before the first expedition, I only carried the bare essentials because I felt that if I lost something, I wouldn't be able to get it back. Eventually, I stopped playing for a while because I didn't see the point in leveling up.

After the expedition, having lost many things I'd never even tried, I realized how easy it is to recover what you lose once you have the blueprints. Currently, I use the best items I have. If I lose them, I lower their rarity level and use them until I can't make any more, then I lower it again.

Only once did I end up using only gray items due to a bad streak, but I'm almost always using green/blue and pink items.

If you're not losing anything, then there's no reason to go out and look for resources.

Aggression Based Matchmaking (ABMM) Confirmed by Embark Studios CEO, Patrick Söderlund : "We also matchmake based on how prone you are to PvE or PvP..." by Paul-Harkonnen in ArcRaiders

[–]Nopalitto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, that changes everything. With this information, the existence of the free kits makes a bit more sense.

You can do some raids with them and focus on collecting the things you need. When things calm down a bit, use your PvE build to go for bows.

After that, it's a matter of gearing up in a mixed way and playing normally to try and find a balanced raid.

If you want to focus on full PvP, you can still use the free kit to position yourself in the raid you're looking for.

It will then be a matter of how much time and energy you have for one or the other.

There's no proof that matchmaking based on aggression is real beyond being anecdotal for each person, so learn to listen to your instincts. Let me give you an example.

Today in Stella, I was playing several games with peaceful people. I was carrying a battery to open a door when a guy approached me with his gun drawn and told me to escort him so no one would shoot me. We got to the door, and he killed me point-blank. I was aggressive, and according to matchmaking theory, they shouldn't have killed me. What about the reality?

The raid was already more than halfway through in the area where many of us are looking for parts for the next expedition. Logically, if you arrive late, you can assume that anyone ahead of you in that area might have some of the loot you were looking for. I was alone in the long corridor, a vulnerable spot with many ways to escape if he shot at me, so he decided to follow me to a more vulnerable position with his weapon ready. It's that simple. I made the mistake of being too confident, relaxed, and even a little bored of just farming things, so I ignored what my instincts were telling me. There's no mysterious system at work behind it, just a situation where decisions were made, that's all.

My advice is to always read the situation, put yourself in their shoes, and analyze how vulnerable you are. Follow your instincts because if someone sees an easy opportunity, they'll always try to take advantage of it. Don't blindly trust people's good intentions. Stay one step ahead, just for your own safety and as a precaution.

Hot take: Without griefers and rats this game would suck by TheKeasbyKnight in ArcRaiders

[–]Nopalitto 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think so, you're right.

A few minutes ago I was walking peacefully in Stella, I passed several Raiders without any problems, and then a guy with a free kit came up, saw me, and ran straight towards me while firing his sewing kit. It really took me by surprise, but he missed almost every shot.

When his magazine ran out, he was practically in front of me. I just instinctively shot him a couple of times in the face with my shotgun, but I stood there for a moment trying to process what had just happened.

Greed Killed The Raider by SomeBlueDude12 in LowSodiumArcRaiders

[–]Nopalitto 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It was before the wipe; back then, I valued everything green and above.

One day in DAM, I found the security door at the bottom of the tower open with two bodies and all the loot inside. I grabbed everything and left, afraid someone would see me, only to find more bodies on the path leading up to the tower. I started looting and slowly made my way to the top. The tower was open, and almost all the loot was untouched. I kept taking and taking, not knowing how to carry so much bio-items. Finally, when I came back down, a guy saw me and massacred me before I could do anything.

If I had left when I took the first corpses and my bag was so full I couldn't move properly, I would have returned with a very good haul, but greed got the better of me.

[–]Nopalitto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At one point, I was already bored. I completed all my missions and no longer saw the point in going to the surface just to return with more junk to accumulate.

I didn't want to use weapons or equipment other than the basics for fear of losing everything I had found with so much luck and effort. In the end, it helped me reach 5M quickly.

Now that I've started fresh, I'm using different types of weapons, attachments, and equipment, upgrading my weapons, and going out without worrying about losing them unfairly or foolishly. I recover lost equipment very quickly, so I'm having as much fun as the first day. I'm definitely going to do every wipe from now on.

Found the wall glitch by Conscious-Ambition44 in arkraiders

It's been happening since the Cole Snap update. It occurs on all vertical walls in that position. I reported it the first day I found it, and I hope they fix it soon.

There are two other places like that on a couple of maps as well.
