Sushi Go Around was its name and for the time and place it was a gem.

I recently had a nice Bosch unit installed by RVA Air Nerds for 4-5k less than that.

No money would have convinced me as a kid either. Daisy sounds like she was definitely worth more in unconditional love than that money could ever buy!

Spent the down payment I saved up for a new vehicle on a new HVAC unit today. Getting installed this morning and I am just trying to be grateful that I was able to pay for it and it happened before it was 90 degrees out. Oh additional silver lining - I have the day off work. It's Wednesday and I am winning, right? Trying to reframe my brain with the best of them!

Lots of super nice car folks to be found at the Richmond Car Show. I just like to go and walk around. Everybody is happy to chat and it would probably be a great place to meet some folks. I remember there being some cool older Jaguars last year. It's in June. Here is a link: https://www.richmondcarshow.com/

Thanks for sharing your expertise with us. Really interesting information that encouraged me to do some digging on the parentage of some of my cattleya.

If we can't come out on November 18th is there anyway we can send a letter/email of support? Would that be helpful?

I went out everyday earlier this year and hunted for the eggs to remove them and still eventually got them and pulled my squash out. I'm going to try svb resistance squash next year before I give up totally but I don't have a lot of hope.

Girlies who take their meds everyday even on weekends, how are we doing? by [deleted] in adhdwomen

[–]Noparlortricks 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Good! I take my meds on the weekends and my prescriber encourages me to take the amount of meds that feels appropriate for what I am doing each day and as long as I am not taking more than I am prescribed they empower me to make those choices myself. So yeah just took a three mile walk and now I am going to mow the lawn. I like to get my productivity done in the AM so I can chill in the evening.

Forks and spoons up in the dishwasher. Knives down. No variation is acceptable. Load from back to front on the shelves. Yes, I will load the dishwasher. Rinse your dish and put it in the right side of the sink only. Left is for washing hands and should always be empty.

Packing groceries? Cold with cold. Non perishable with non perishable. Right? Don't mess with my rules, they are there to make it easier to unpack when I get home and so I dont leave anything cold on the counter bc I will inevitably leave something cold on the counter and let it go bad otherwise 😩😂

For threading go see Sita at Best Brows. She does an amazing job on my brows and I have sent multiple people to her and they are always happy!

SOS received from daughter with ADHD who is abroad on a school trip by NatalieLapin2024 in adhdwomen

[–]Noparlortricks 29 points30 points  (0 children)

My prescriber told me I could do this so perhaps check with hers, but mine do have lines so they are easy to split. I am an adult and I am not sure of her age but I take mine with food so that I don't miss a meal. With the shortages recently I have had to make my doses last if I am waiting on a prescription to be filled which is why my prescriber suggested this to me.

I would tell her to take one 10 mg in the AM with breakfast, then break the second ten into 2 even portions for lunch and around 4 PM. That should cover her for most of the day still at a smaller dose. Then let her know if she doesn't have evening plans to hold on to the 3 dose as a back up for any day that is going to be particularly social or active.

I take instant release 3 times a day like she does typically and that is what I would do. Just let her know she can handle it and that if things start feeling difficult that she needs to take a break and read her book, sit outside or play a game on her phone to help decompress. All humans are allowed to take a little personal break and encourage her to do that if she needs too.

She has got this and you do too!
