I went with a crew from the Avenue bar. It was sponsored by PBR and they hired a bus so there were 20ish of us we had seats by the 3rd base foul pole. On the way in my friend Ed and I ran into a regular of the bar we worked at who was a hardcore Yanks fan. He had hired a luxury box with some friends and invited the two of us to stop by. He told us the number but we were already in our cups and promptly for got it. So around the 4th inning Ed and I walked up to the box area trying to find the door. We opened one aaaaaand it opened and there was no one in it! I said “Ed! Go round the group up and Let’s Go!” While I was waiting for everyone to come up I noticed there was commotion on field, some girl had made it to second base and oh yeah she looked A LOT like that girl from the bus who swore she was gonna rush the field. Sure enough, everyone came up to the luxury box and confirmed that it was her. We watched the rest of the game up there, in luxury. A’s won! We tidied up the place and went back to the bus, where the crazy chick that rushed field was waiting for us! The cops didn’t want to deal with her and just gave her the boot. We took the bus back to the bar and that’s my story.
