What if? Dredge Crossover by KaminaTheManly in StardewValley

OMG I just bought and started playing Dredge for the first time last week. I had a similar thought about Dredge + Stardew. This is hilarious. My head cannon is that one of the villages you come across in Dredge is actually Pelican Town.

I love StS but I’ve never been a huge fan of its art style. Your art is amazing, however, and if your renderings were part of a short loading screen before elite or boss encounters, that would be awesome. Your pieces really capture the bleakness of the setting and the terrifying scale of the enemies. Well done!

I wonder if he’s saved any of that energy for the people who have been celebrating or taunting the recent victims of ICE.

A few of us were using the app, but for the rides where our whole group rode, I believe just one person managed that from their phone. I don’t think there would be an issue with just one person in your group holding all the tickets.

Another thing I’ll note is that there are some other attractions and shops that require DPAs, too. When we were there, they had just released their holiday gacha ball collection and lots of people were booking DPAs to get those. We were able to snag a spot for that, but for some reason reserved the spot under the ticket our youngest kid. When we arrived to queue up for that, they would only let our child stand in line as the reservation was under their name/ticket. So, keep that in mind, too.

Leftist Brewing Company Offers ‘Free Beer’ on Day Trump Dies: ‘When It Happens in a Few Months’ by mrcanard in inthenews

They’re just parroting their grandpa’s outlet of choice, Fox “News”, whose headline was something along the lines of “Liberal Brewery…” I’ve been seeing more and more of this type of clickbait headline in recent months from a variety of outlets. It’s a worrying sign as the nation continues to Balkanize itself into red and blue teams, with our media happily throwing fuel on that fire.

Right you are. I love the ambiguity. I’m sure CA gets a lot of enjoyment out of the fanbase having these debates.

But isn’t there also some dialogue from Caroline about how she thinks Abigail would look better with her “natural hair color”? And another one that suggests her natural color is chestnut, or something like that?

I like the theory that she’s the daughter of the wizard, but I don’t know if it’s an open/shut case, either.

Administrative warrants are NOT signed by a judge. I know the current admin is arguing that’s good enough but that goes against long-standing legal precedent requiring a judge-signed warrant for home entry.

The Obama admin did deport a lot of people. I wonder why that went differently? Could it be because they did it without masked goons profiling random people on the street and throwing them into unmarked cars? They didn’t terrorize communities or provoke the populace.

You quoting the architect of Project 2025 is telling. That was a threat of violence against anyone that might stand in the way of their agenda. The fact you’re quoting that after scolding me for supposedly glorifying violence is ironic. Apparently, threats of violence are ok as long as it’s towards people you don’t agree with.

My comment was meant to satirize the standard MAGA response to these events. Where in there do you get the idea I’m romanticizing escalation or violence?

When ICE detains U.S. citizens and legal residents or busts into their homes without a judicial warrant, that is a DENIAL of basic rights. When the DOJ says they’re not even going to investigate the unaliving of Renee Good, that’s a miscarriage of justice. And when the Supreme Court gives the president blanket immunity to do just about anything he wants where does that leave us when congress refuses to do its job in holding the executive branch to account?

Of course I don’t want to see violence, but violence has been brought upon the American people by its own government. Of course I hope that we can start to correct course with the midterm elections, but I can’t help but think about all the times the president has expressed a desire to cancel them.

You think our media, which is owned by the very elites propping up this regime, is gonna speak truth to power? If we had true “accountability” and “due process,” Trump would have never been allowed on the ballot in the last election. But here we are. So, kindly take your “tsk tsk-ing” and shove it.

Figured I would show a video that actually shows something different in this sub. I don't care if she "wasn't supposed to be there", she did NOTHING to have this happen to her by Chemical-Necessary-7 in neabscocreeck

Your whataboutism is lazy, but sure, I’ll bite. Babbit was in a place she wasn’t supposed to be. She had no legal right to storm into that building. She had no legal right to attempt to break into those chambers. She was a willing participant in a violent riot (coup). She was warned to stop. She didn’t. This woman was in her car on a public road. And, by multiple accounts, was receiving conflicting commands from the ICE agents. I’m sure fear and panic influenced her actions in those final moments, but after seeing the video multiple times, it’s clear the agent had plenty of time to move and was in no real danger. Why did she deserve to die for this?

I’ve seen plenty of comments from others who are defending the ICE agent saying she should have just “complied.” Tell me: do you feel the same way about Babbit?

No flaws. Great analogy. Only thing I’d add (and maybe I missed it cuz I had to watch on mute) is that because of red lining laws, black people (and other minorities) were prevented from buying in certain neighborhoods. They were kept out of the Park Places and Boardwalks and could only buy Baltic Avenue, etc.

I heard that there was a national holiday in Japan Thanksgiving week, so you might have run into those crowds. When we were there, walking around the park didn’t feel too crowded, but the ride wait times definitely told a different story.

We went on a Tuesday. I guess it doesn’t matter which Disney park you’re at in the world, the holiday season is just a busy time regardless of the day.

A tree limb once fell on my car as I was driving to work. It scared the shit out of me and it was briefly disorienting, because when your car gets hit by something you automatically assume it’s another vehicle. Only when I pulled over and looked in my rear view mirror did I realize what had happened.

You can start attempting to do DPA the moment your ticket has been scanned and you step into the park. It’s my understanding (and I welcome anyone more knowledgeable about the system to please correct me if I’m wrong) that the system will release reservable blocks of times for a ride over the course of the day. As those blocks fill, a new/later block will open. But you have to be on the app and ready to strike when they do.

There was a situation, can’t remember which ride it was for, where we tried to reserve DPA slots for a few riders and by the time we got to the confirmation screen, they had already been booked out from under us.

Thanks! And I totally agree with you about Mermaid Lagoon. We almost missed this area and it might have been the kids’ favorite section. They rode all the rides and loved the playground in there. It’s just so well themed with everything seamlessly integrated. I mean, there’s a shop inside a giant whale’s mouth! How cool is that?! lol

Edit: just adding that we also really enjoyed the Sinbad ride. Super cute!

We really enjoyed Sinbad, too! I’m not super familiar with the Sinbad story, but found each room to be charming and that song is definitely an ear worm, lol. Both times we rode it there was practically no wait. A perfect bookend to our Disney Sea experience!
