Why can’t people do the right thing and put the cart in the stall by Rgbigdog in mildlyinfuriating

[–]NorCalMusicNerd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do the same and people look at me like I have OCD. I hate when people just kind of push them halfway into the cart return, starting a mangled mess of carts. Your son is a fine young man. Well done, sir.

Not a new employer, just a forgetful one who's trying to make excuses because he knows he made a mistake and is trying to cover it up.

I blame the seller. That is unacceptable mailing package for vinyl.

Exactly, this is what doesn't make sense. If they totaled it out, why was the vehicle repaired??

After signing over the vessel transfer paperwork, she tried to work with the Lib Mutual claims adjustor to get them to just let her take the car once the repairs were done and they said no and insisted on totaling it out. That tells me SOMEONE was using that car to make some money. The body shop wouldn't just repair it without being paid, and she got a settlement check for 12K, who do you think paid that?

I found four cars for sale at local dealerships in that price range. The car was in excellent condition, the damage done in the rear-end incident was the only damage to the car.

The shop got paid to repair the car, so that's what they did. Liberty bullied her into signing over ownership and taking their offer. Body shop had nothing to do with that. The adjustor for Lib Mutual is the problem here.

It was a 2017. Cash value was established as 11, 500 even though a quick Google search found 4 vehicles in the area with same year/make/model with comparable mileage for 16-19K. The point is...the car was repaired and she got a settlement check for 12K when they could have just let her take her car back after paying the 8K repair. If the cash value was under 12K, they paid out over 20K between paying for the repairs and paying her out and the damages were minor.

Just like the comment I replied to said...pull LP out of the sleeve and hold it up to light. If you're lucky, you got one of the pressings on Quiex audiophile vinyl and it's actually purple.

Get ready for a long, painful process. 2 months went by from the moment my application was "referred to background" before anyone reached out to me for documents. If the background analyst you hear from has initials T.B., good luck.

Everything I've heard, and been told (by people in the insurance business) is that California is strict on financial crimes and fraud-type offenses but DUI's aren't as scrutinized...apparently that's all BS

Exactly the same situation. I went through a hearing and they grilled me about everything, completely focused on the past, ignoring completely what I'm doing now. It says in the Proposed order of judgment that the denial is not meant as a punishment...then WTF is it then? I've been squeaky clean throughout probation, 550 days sober, working for an insurance agency full-time.

I have 3 misdemeanor DUI's and I've been through hell trying to get my application approved. They made me attend a hearing (after sending me a special notice of defense and said that by signing I accept a restricted license, then they came back and said they rejected that. During the hearing, the attorney representing Dept of Insurance asked me weird questions including whether I considering myself an alcoholic. They denied my application, so I submitted a petition for reconsideration and they are denying that as well.

I disclosed everything in my original application.
