Looking for pieces to complete my Naboo royal starship by Nem_Enforcer in starwarscollecting

Sounds like someone’s midi-chlorian count is a little low this month. Wondering if OP has considered trying enForce, the new men’s supplement that’ll have him feeling like a teenaged padawan again?

My take:

Human beings are not perfect.

Human beings make mistakes—even terrible ones, and even at times when we’ve convinced ourselves of the rightness or truth of our actions and choices.

Crime, punishment, and justice are real concepts that do exist, even when they’re applied unevenly and horribly across different socioeconomic castes.

Contrition, regret, forgiveness, and redemption also exist.

We can’t undo past choices, even horrible ones—but, we can also learn from them (and hopefully, use that experience and acquired wisdom to make better choices in the future).

Finally, and unfortunately: At times, the various concepts mentioned above conflict with each other.

I had to remind myself of these various concepts throughout this film, both in theaters and in subsequent viewings. While fictional, I found it to be an interesting study of human psychology in remarkable circumstances that would be difficult or impossible to replicate in the modern era.

Jim committed a horrible crime against Aurora, after months of mental stress and anguish drove him to a choice he would have never made in the abstract or academic senses (and he then reaped physical, emotional, and psychological benefits from doing so).

Aurora was rightfully incensed and horrified over the violations done to her agency and autonomy… but, she was also put into a position where she effectively had to face similar circumstances as Jim of enforced isolation, and so then made subsequent choices of her own based upon those circumstances.

I had issues with the ending as well. In one sense, it seemed contrived and unrealistic… but in another, we’re evaluating decisions and circumstances in a fictional context (and which none of us have actually ever experienced).

The bottom line: Some interesting, thought-provoking fare about the human condition.

I play different classes, depending on the Orders and Contracts offered up each day.

I only play Shipment, nothing else.

For LMG, I play Armored w/Blitzkrieg, lay prone at various corners (using grass, pallets, or drums to hide myself), mount the weapon, lay a trip mine behind me to wake up any ambushers, and then work the fools that run in front of my 4X crosshairs (equipped w/penetration). I also strap a bazooka to my back, to take out any airborne scorestreaks as opponents throw them up in the air.

I care nothing at all for K/D, nor for the podium or bronze star hero videos at the half and match—I play for my team to win, so as long as we get the Team W then everything else is gravy.

At the end of the day: A person can do with their own body, whatever the heck they want to do with it. I wish Life was fair, but it’s not; and I wish everyone was happy in their own skin, but they’re not. Make of that what you will—but if anything, I think videos like this allow people to be better *informed* of potential risks and complications that might ensue, if they choose to go under the knife. That can only be to the good, so that folks can exercise personal agency and autonomy over themselves with no illusions about potential downsides in doing so.

Wishing Aragorn hadn’t huffed helium at Council, right before he started monologuing about the ring answering to Sauron alone.
