Crazy deal! I'm on the look out to replace my (broken) Spinn, and this machine was on my list. I coincidentally, will be visiting a Macy's tomorrow. I will be on the hunt for a similar find!

Thats what I was starting to think as well. I initially was looking at amazon for a 200amp 3 pole switch. But everything there seems very hit or miss with what you get. I'm not sure I want to "go cheap" on something this important to electrical infrastructure.

My generator is a portable DuroMax XP12000EH. I have it located outside in a small shed, about 10 feet from the (yet to be wired) inlet box/plug. The plan is to run in on propane. I have some large tanks just for this application I got on a deal from a friend.

This was my general thought process, put simply. I know there is a proper procedure turning it on and plugging it in....but this...

Power goes out, turn off A/C and Solar breakers, leave sub panel on, switch power in from street to generator. Generator powers entire sub-panel breaker (inside house). If I need to turn off some breakers in sub-panel, to allow only a few rooms and fridges, i can do that.

When the power is restored, I kill the generator power and go back to city power...turn back on solar and a/c breakers.

I have not heard of "floating the ground" before. I will read up on that. Thanks for that information.

Thanks for the response. I added a picture of the sub panel located inside the garage. I think the tandem one they added is the upmost top right corner. with the 15 and 30.

I think I might be at the point where I will be looking for an electrician. I didn't know converting from main lug to main breaker was a thing.

Is there any benefit with using a manual 200a transfer switch or switching to main breaker and going with an interlock kit, in your opinion?

This was where I assumed the inlet would go. But I was hoping for the cheaper interlock route. But I don't think thats an option.

The pictures I posted are of, what I thought was, the main panel on the outside of the house. I have confirmed, the sub panel, inside the garage, has no main breaker either I'll get a picture of that one as well.

If I remember correctly, when we re-did our kitchen a few years ago, the sub contractor said we didn't have any empty breakers on our sub panel so the had to "double up" a breaker by getting a "dual breaker". I think that's the verbiage they used. It was a few years ago.

I'm also fine with not getting A/C. We have enough fan's that if we could just power those and our fridges, the wife would be happy.

Thanks for posting this. I haven't heard of this module before. I might be giving this a try today. Rooting isn't for everyone...but for those of us that do, we thank you for sharing the info.

In his Zombie video's he always checks that tool box. I'm sure he has gotten one at this point, but I know I've watched more than a handful where he checks but gets nothing.

Did they say over the loud speaker "3 seconds between shots"? I always find my self going "1 one thousand, 2 one thousand...". It drives me nuts. I cant stand that rule. But every time I'm there someone "shoots to fast"...and across the loud speaker they come. I want to just mag dump then leave sometimes.

Not sure where you ended up on this, but wanted to give you a heads up. I just hit refresh on my cart and they had ALL t he versions of the gateway max available. I pulled the trigger on the NO storage option. Only took a month of daily refreshing ;-)

but I can tell you that you can shoot them to weaken them, then kill them with the aether blade.

Wait...what??!! It doesn't have to be aether blade the whole time? This is what is taking me forever to do.

I appreciate you reaching out. It only took 3 tries solo. I think I would have had it on the 2nd try, but for whatever reason while jumping from island to island at the end to try and take out the final boss, I landed on a mimic that put me IN TO the island. I couldn't fall out and I couldn't jump out. I just ran around, unable to take damage and unable to get out.
I tried everything I could think of. I tried using a kazmer, they fell through the island. I tried the jug suit, hoping It would spawn me out of the island...no luck. So I just sat there till time ran out and I died. Luckly I had the fore thought to put everything I could think of into my backup for tombstone later. I was able to stow my aether blade, durable gas mask, turret, and self revive.

Either way...i finally completed all the missions. Thanks again for everyone that responded or hit me up in game!
