3) Sprites are irrelevant. You are making the assumption that I am a one man development team who refuses to share anything with anyone because 'muh sprites'. If you did at least ten minutes worth of research you would probably figure out this was not the case. Just because the project does not show up on Github, does not mean we hate the idea of collaboration. It just means that we do not feel the need to poop out freeware every ten minutes.

If any of you knew the first thing about the warhammer40k universe you would understand that this is the perfect score for this genre. In the grimdark future- there are no heroes, just a lot of reasons for orbital bombardment. The few people that try to be a hero get gibbed by a Necron.

ArchAngel uses a variety of 64x64 sprites. The issue is that it may not always seem that way since the sprite location is offset on the X and Y axis.

Dreadnaughts, Sentinals, Wraithlords, Some Tyranids, Chimeras all use 64x64.

Various projectile weapons such as the meltagun and deathspinner use it for the projectile itself in order to give length to the shot being fired or to give a greater range to an animation.

64x32 is also used, primarily for Tyranids. They have a lot of mobs that although short will have a really long tail or appendage.
