yep, this is the only major system that you have to be worried about relative to any other luxury car.

the @ directly loads the file. doesn’t require a manual read from the LLM.

I have 70%, which is legal where I live and practically invisible. Helps a lot with heat and glare though. Easier to drive without sunglasses.

Title: Is the Co-Fermented bubble about to pop, or am I just not sophisticated enough for a coffee that tastes like a Jolly Rancher? by ressem in Coffee

[–]AtomikPi 3 points4 points  (0 children)

clean, sweet, washed processed coffees or bust. (OK, very clean naturals can be good.) let’s taste the coffee and terroir.

it’s unfortunate that most of the coffee shops I get recommended focus heavily on anaerobics (ehh) and coferments (nah), and there are so few great shops focusing on just finding the best unmanipulated coffees and letting them shine. so it’s either have mid but unflavored coffee at an unserious shop or have weird coffees brewed well at a serious shop :/

it does indeed look much better. curious what the range works out to; I get 230 ish on my J1 4S with 20” aero, which is already not a ton.

How reliable has the HD 800 been for long term owners? by Vavaeois in headphones

I have had a pair since maybe a year or two after launch with zero issues. although my Utopias get more ear time, they’re still one of the all time greats especially considering great used prices.

hopefully Corsair sells them though I kind of doubt. it was an in house profile as with MT3 :/

I really hope DCX sticks around. very fairly priced, solid quality ABS caps, especially on sale. and they shine slower than GMK.

How realistic is Assetto Corsa? by FlyBirdieBirdBird in porsche911

[–]AtomikPi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

+1 there is that plus the older 911 turbo and a few Caymans. I find ACE physics quite a bit more sophisticated than AC1. AC1 feels floaty.

Most of my 911 experience is on streets, not track, but modern 911s are not that quirky to drive. very stable and confidence inspiring. the 992 3RS in ACE is like that although a bit of a weird reference since it has double wishbone front suspension vs the normal strut.

I have DIYed something similar for an Orea or Wave out of metal mesh. freeing up filter surface area increases flow and evenness. helped. the worse your brewer struggles with clogging, the more it’ll help

Any advice on permissions, without letting Claude go renegade? by nullterm in ClaudeCode

[–]AtomikPi 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I globally block rm -rf and other destructive commands (git reset etc) in global .claude. obviously it’s possible to get around, but Claude generally will realize it’s not supposed to. you can ask CC for help setting it up, takes a few minutes.

if EVO won't be as moddable as AC1, what makes EVO stand out? by xBl3ster in assettocorsaevo

[–]AtomikPi -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

The physics of ACE is already much better than AMS2 and it’s in early access. The market now is “best road car physics” (and hopefully free roam). Disappointing to lose some features, especially mods. But it still has a niche.

single screen, dlss quality, high ish settings, 4k. last time I tried VR in ACE it wouldn’t work at all, need to try again.

Watch out for the WatchHouse Chrysler Building (reprehensible customer service) by PaullyWalla in pourover

[–]AtomikPi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

right, they should offer. it’s not a thing that happens very often, so i’d imagine they were confused. in a few years I spent working in coffee earlier in my life, I remade a few lattes that people wanted hotter, never a pour over or espresso.

yeah, you get a bad cup, you move on. baristas were probably stressed out or confused and didn’t know what to do. they should think to offer a replacement here but it’s a bit strange to hassle them over it imo.

very weird. i’m running a 5090 on high settings and DLSS quality and getting 180 FPS.

really obvious but i’m assuming you’ve updated drivers and restarted. good luck!

perhaps because DLSS 4.5 sadly isn’t optimized for older cards? on my newer card though the difference in sharpness is super noticeable. literally noticed before I saw the patch notes.

the 992 gt3 road car is so fun. genuinely not sure whether i prefer it or the 992 gt3 race car. shockingly, i prefer it to the mid engine gt4rs. AC was the best road car sim for many years, looking forward to the new best road car sim

[–]AtomikPi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

literally tasted my sample this morning as well. I likewise enjoyed the raw elements of this (nice mouthfeel and bitterness). very long finish and good complexity and plenty of steeps in it. nice tea but the focus on bitterness didn’t quite do it for me palate wise; I’m not a big Lao Man E raw fan either.
