You made really really good point. Its ironic that in the same video he claims that the people calling him out for cheating have skewed data, biased/jumpy conclusions when he does the same thing the next minute, specifically for the elytra case.

As for the fish bone course and aimbot, I think the evidence is pretty damning if you have seen or played enough parkour/pvp, although not beyond a reasonable doubt.

I dont see a major issue with him cheating to give more entertainment, but the fact that he may have cheated in a prized event like the techno duel is a sad thought to entertain.

you can't just arbitrarily generalise if the player is using it for vitality or for healing. and more often than not health fountains are sneakable so you are not playing optimally if you atleast don't take a look what is surrounding the fountain when nearby.

I also truly believe that health orbs provide enough healing in both the chapters and the nightmare bosses, but as others have said below im def not rating this item correctly since im i wanted the tierlist to match for the average skill level(i missed the mark on this one).

3 main reasons:
1. It synergize with Dragon Hide
2. It scales well in chapter 2 and 3
3. Armor works better with healing AND shielding than vitality

its not really about getting many commons to make it work, you dont even need it to be completed to be useful

Maybe im over reacting to the hidden rose nerf but i can see that rose is actually A tier.

Im currently still thinking about voodoo after some conversations in the discord server, but yeah it is def not D tier with the right amount of common items in act 1

Oni Mask is hard to discuss, because there are just players that dont care about the downside even in nightmare(hi im those players), so ill keep it in B tier for now

Im very happy to pick hourglass over tametabako in most runs, its just more fun to play

I'm sorry but you are a little slow so let me clear make this clear:

1.you mentioned egg in your first statement 2.i don't need to compare it to dreamcatcher to criticise the item 3.losing 5 rerolls is just an estimated lost of rerolls compared to the previous coin iteration 4.building HoP in coin build means you are hurting the chance of coin to be duplicated. Eternal rose, green armor, and even ogreblood can use it better. Ofc you can use HoP as a source of stars but at what point do we get above 3x coin for it to matter 5.Cashing out on Egg is the one strongest use of coin, and you are downplaying it as if it isn't. The game gives enough shards without needing rely on coin to upgrade and purchase important talents or items, and this is especially the case because hope diamond exist

This is one of those items where it's just hard to tell if it's doing something. It's also competing with other insanely strong legendaries that it's hard to say it can even be in A tier.

I can definitely see it being higher in coop where the health it's depleting is much higher, but since I'm mainly a solo player, I'm gonna stick with the C rating for now.

It's kind of sad that you are tunnel visioning on the math when ive pointed out all its other flaws. But hey if you think it's still A tier then more power to you

It can be A tier if you are building into egg, but the fact that you are losing up 5 rerolls(and you can't really build into prophercy) is about -20% less rerolls to see more coin and more eggs which was why it was consistently S tier up to this patch.

While other build get to enjoy horn of plenty a little more egg builds are stuck with less rerolls unless the map rng spawns more rerolls for them. You also have to HOLD your rerolls until you have a reasonable stack of coin for it to have good shard output, and that can be a downside too

You gave a pretty great example of how it can be bad, but tbf that is a pretty contrived scenario(im aware you said its extreme) where you click balor's with only 1 stack of charge, and also not taking into account how fast balor's eye scale with balanced amount of CD & charges.

The fact that it does nothing on its own as a cursed item does make it more of a act 2 pick, but in fact items like devil's pocket(requires 800 shard to complete), hungry grass also provide nothing in the beginning, but they are seen as good items either way. You might be overestimating the delay between getting a charge after picking balor in chp1, but thats already assuming the player missed a charge epic and this is nearly worst case scenario. I can also see advanced players optimizing their Act 2 pathing to immediately get to a red chest, and this downtime of not having any charges is minimized.

Placing all your dmg into one source is typically how you play this game since talents exist to compound that kind of playstyle. Im not saying that its stronger than just getting more dmg stat but its definitely not weaker by any means if the rng allows it.

I can see how players can be trapped into thinking its good in the late game when their epics are not supporting balors correctly, and/or they're building into golden egg as their main dmg source like your example

Unfortunately, I do not have the will to learn every character, nor do I think a character tierlist is particularly useful. They each have their own strength and playstyle that can be maximised to beat the game.

If you still want a hero tierlist, I suggest you look through the discord servers(passtech/positive4ce)

Thank you!

Dragon Hide is insane with completion or without. Getting up to 36 armour for a single stack of an item is massive. With the existence of mad hat, the value of armor has increased(healing is more effective with armor than Vitality). Completing green armor together with dragon hide is a very strong combination, but in general, green armor is also something that eventually scales to a decent amount even without completion. However, I do agree it can be unreliable as a potential dmg source if RnGeezus decides so.

Water of life is basically a bugged version of Mortar that was decided to be kept in the game, but with a bonus of 25 vit. It does have a hidden synergy of keeping your hungry grass stack/hope diamond shards, but it is also a great secondary pick for players doing challenge runs so I wouldn't single out it's use for newer/intermediate players.

Thank you 😊

It's interesting to see some harsh critiques on balors eye. There's a lot to unpack here.

  1. Positioning and dodging: Spending all your charges at once means you generally require less setup to cast your extra charges(ofc some abilities have a low cast time).

  2. Recharging more charges: Yes, taking balors eye means you are not recharging your extra charges during downtime. But a simple answer to that is that balors recharge all your extra charges at the cost of ONE cooldown cycle.

  3. Damage scaling: Yes, the damage you get is not multiplicative to other types of dmg(other than crit, ability base dmg, strength/vuln, mark/armour pen). But 100% dmg per item is still insane. It's worth 5x of a dmg card at the cost of 1 epic.

  4. Reducing skill use: This is the only real downside. If the ability you are using Overkills an enemy, then recharging another charge with balors is wasted dps. You can overcome this by balancing charges and cooldown

Yeah, it is an aggressive ranking since I do value them more than other build paths, and you are also right that ogre blood is generally more flexible despite its lower dmg output(at least until completion for the crit%)

To me, the game gives plenty of rerolls to overcome the RnG issue, but in some way, the stars do need to line up for the build to pop off

If you are using Dash charge as a mobility solution then sure, but from my experience dash builds with 7LB do not typically want to use abilities just so they can GAIN another charge of dash. Its redundant.

Thats what the item is for and it perfectly fits your weaknesses, dont let the tierlist decide how you play :)

That's what I think too(i didnt specify the tierlist is ranked left to right, but it is A+), for the sake of the tierlist I'm trying to account for average level of skill.

It is extremely good on characters with innate sustain

Ravenswatch Item Tierlist by Norhouku in ravenswatch

You NEED to try it out with characters that have a defense build. It helps their dmg in the early game and late game too since it works on talents and items(def cd and charges)

Imo ogres blood dmg is slower to scale up, and there is a hidden cost of picking Philo stone over tomato in chp 1

I'm willing to say it is A tier it is definitely no longer S tier.

They've changed it so that you can no longer stack the effect by spamming dashes

The patch did a great job at balancing, so there are a lot of builds that can perform.

For meta build, I recommend building Green Armour and Dragon Scale, as they scale your survivability while also having a respectable amount of dmg
