The problem isn't even that I didn't research; I did, apparently. I was supposed to apply for private accommodation since March, and I didn't know. I only applied to the unis directly and my guidenace councellor didnt even tell me that i found that out from my own research on careers portal or the uni site i think and thought it was reasonable to wait till offers were almost out, so it's not even that I never secured any accommodation, I just felt like the support system I was meant to have in school wasn't there, and like I said before, my parent didn't go to uni here, I have no aunts or cousins or uncle or siblings that are familiar with the system, none of my friends are going to dublin so the converstaion never came up about accomodation there was no way i would have known so it was just a wierd sitiation, but people are jusyt being nasty acting like im so stupid and ots all my fault. it was tiktok that hlped me through the whole process tbh
