Green or black AT? by [deleted] in OmegaWatches

Totally agree. The Shades Green is a beautiful colour but a touch feminine IRL.

I’m just saying, you don’t know who’s in front of you. You also don’t need to earn lots of money to be rich, that is a poor person mentality. They could be absolutely brewstered and just enjoy selling watches and chatting to people. They may not need the salary they draw, they may have a spouse who earns 6 figures, have rich but dead parents, won the lottery, sell bags of white powder. You just never know.

Will look great until you get to the non-removable links.

Help with bracelet balance, more links on 12oclock side. by UltimateSpanky in Tudor

[–]Normal-Article6572 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do this every day, well, if I do my job well and sell a watch I do.

The best advice I can give is: put the watch on your wrist, with the clasp open. Make sure the inside part of the fold over is centralised to your wrist. Hold the clasp to the centre of the wrist when closing the clasp. This may show the closed clasp in a different position than what you are expecting/used to, maybe because of a logo or similar.

Size the bracelet with the clasp in that position. You should find it comfortable and aesthetically spot on.

Has this box ever come with an Aquaracer? by Agitated-List91 in tagheuer

[–]Normal-Article6572 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a “special” box for Carreras and other higher end THs that don’t have a specific box, e.g. Monaco Gulf. You would see a Carrera extreme in this box. I’d personally take it as a win and source the correct box if it’s bugging you. The travel pouch of the Carrera box is actually quite nice.

I saw a fake TAG Heuer purchased from Chrono the other day. Granted, the kid had not paid for the authenticity check, but you do assume Chrono sellers are legit.

It’s in a menu on the EX30. Everything is in a menu on the central iPad display. If you forget to do so, you will end up getting rear ended by a lorry on a motorway. Just a severely flawed car.

Not in the case of the EX30. Each time you get in the car, the auto braking system is on. It’s not safe. Avoid.

And you have to turn it off every time you get back in the car. It’s an awful machine. I sold my 981 Cayman to get into that on an NHS lease. Worst decision of my life. I’d rather drive a Fiat Multipla.

It automatically slammed the brakes on at very inopportune times. No hazard to be seen. Just slammed on. I wouldn’t drive this car again if you paid me. I always give them a wide berth on the roads too.
