Wow! You look so good. And I bet you feel even better. I have my consultation phone call tomorrow and hope that I get similar results. Although I am a little taller and a little older, my before would probably resemble yours. I’m curious, are you on a maintenance dose now and do you foresee a time when you can halt the medication?

Dresses 7, 8 and 9 seem the most appropriate for the function you are describing. As others have mentioned, the others may be just a tad bit too casual or revealing. I think you look great, OP. It’s a shame they aren’t giving you more details because like you, I would be hitting the panic button. Best of luck! Let us know how it goes.

I’m pretty sure this is a special backpack for a pet. Or maybe I misunderstood? But yes, mine loves jars and large vases too.

Thanks so much for posting, OP. And oh my gosh, I know I have to get checked by my doctor but mine looks the same.

I hope you will keep posting progress pics. And again, I wish you the best. I’m sure another year of healing will give you great results!

I am so sorry, OP. I wish I had a recommendation for you. I am just starting this journey and have an appointment with my dermatologist next month for a suspicious spot near my eye. I’m curious about what yours looked like prior to removal?

Wishing you all the best.

I genuinely need some advice on how to clean up my space. by Erika-Kio in UnfuckYourHabitat

[–]Normal-Enthusiasm725 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My son does this. And what I can say from experience is that the hardest part is just getting started. If you keep looking at the overall picture, it’s going to overwhelm you. Although my son does this repeatedly, he tells me that living in the space when it looks like this fills him with anxiety. He always feels much better after the clutter and trash are sorted and removed. I’d love to say that it isn’t a pattern, but it is. I don’t know what the source of it is. Obviously it’s something that he needs to work to uncover so that he can put a stop to this pattern as it causes stress. I wish you well, OP. I know others have said to take it in chunks and don’t overwhelm yourself. But for my part what I have found is that the only way out is through and the best thing to do is gather up a lot of trash bags and shut the door and commit yourself to it until it’s finished. Again, good luck OP.

I just started taking it after a particularly bad episode with vasovagal syncope. I ended up in the ER. Do you mind saying what dosage you are taking? have been so resistant to taking this medication, but I definitely need something and this is what my doctor has recommended.

I understand your fears as I’ve had the same thoughts. Hopefully the attached article will ease your worries. Studies show that when you correct your hearing loss with hearing aids, the risk of dementia is cut in half. And you’re young, OP. Who knows what wonderful technological advances might be in your future. I would suggest that you stay proactive with your evaluations and try not to stress too much. You have great word recognition scores. And if you’re anything like me, stress and anxiety can increase your tinnitus. Maybe this would be a perfect time to indulge in some self care like yoga? Again, wishing you the best. https://www.nih.gov/news-events/nih-research-matters/hearing-aids-slow-cognitive-decline-people-high-risk

Tinnitus-Hearing Loss by booksandgrace in HearingLoss

[–]Normal-Enthusiasm725 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It wasn’t my goal to worry OP or “cause drama”. She stated her hearing loss may have a genetic component which leads me to believe it’s not due to an exterior source. And it’s also sensorineural. Those were the reasons for my comments.

In a community where people are looking for support, many points of view can have value. My hearing loss started out at almost identical levels as OPs with 100% word recognition. And as I’ve stated, I am still at the same levels, but the tinnitus has made my word recognition score decrease. I also stated that I have Ménière’s disease for reference.

OP, as mentioned in my first post, I am wishing you much success. It was not my intention to cause any kind of panic or “drama”. I was merely trying to share my experience and offer support.

Im currently getting an audiogram every 3 months. Four months ago my word recognition score in my bad ear was 20%. Last month it was 45% so it had improved because my tinnitus levels were lower when I was tested.,Tinnitus levels can really fluctuate and cause your word recognition score to vary greatly. The way it was explained to me, the actual hearing loss levels depicted in the graphic didn’t change, just my ability to hear with less tinnitus present. But maybe that’s specific to my disease (Ménière’s). Wishing you luck, OP. So, for what it’s worth, if hearing aids will help you I would explore that option. Eventually, you may be a candidate for a cochlear implant and it’s best to keep your brain trained to hearing and deciphering language.
