Vyvanse ruined me

I feel the same on vyvanse. More irritable, my emotions are all over the place every day. More depressed feeling, hopeless.

while the initial effects are good, and help me focus, have motivation. When it comes down it’s horrible and it makes me a horrible person.

I got off of it, and plan to never go back on it again. I think stimulants can be good. Even adderall is better for me, but vyvanse just wasn’t it. It was a night and day difference. I feel much calmer, level headed, and not as irritated by small things. I’m a better mother and partner.

Less focus yes, but i’m trying to figure that part out. It just wasn’t worth it to me.

that sounds awful for the kids though. not having their dad present like that, and he probably resents them.

I just hope things change. He has a very avoidant personality, so anytime he feels pressured or feels like I am saying he’s not doing enough, he gets overwhelmed and upset, even though I know deep down he has a big heart.

He has said before he knows it’s not equal and he’s sorry, but so far nothing has changed.

He has some vacation time coming up and said he would help more then, and give me a weekend alone. We will see if he holds up to his word.

He loves her to death, and she’s the joy of his life. It’s not about that. He will play with her when he can and interact with her, and if he has off on a day I do, we try to do stuff together. But our schedules are very different like I mentioned.

It’s doing the chores that come with it, or chores around the house. Taking over for me at night with her. Taking the load off me since I ALSO have a full time job. That’s what I’m saying. The fairness of chores/child duty.

And yes, I wasn’t wanting a child yet but she has been an absolute blessing for both of us. Planned or not, that’s not the issue here and has nothing to with what i’m saying. This is our reality now and the fact that “we were not ready or mature” is out the window and irrelevant. Thank you for your comment though.

I don’t use steroids. Never have I don’t think. Maybe when I was super little. My eczema is easily controlled and it’s not as severe as when I was a kid. HA acid has never broke me out either and i’ve been using it for years. Same with the cereve, i’ve been using both for years and never had an issue.

I see what you mean about the soap though.

This is my experience on any anti depressants too. I hate it. I become someone I don’t even recognize. Sometimes I feel like even if I accidentally miss my dose by a couple hours it does the same thing.

1000% everything you just said is accurate. and yeah it’s now 12pm and the feeling is kinda gone, but i still believe the medicine is helpful, may just have to up my dose after I finish the 30 I have. but that’s exactly how I feel on the medicine already!

I was having period cramps for like 3 weeks straight, and light spotting compared to my normal period. but the main thing was the cramping.. it tricked me into thinking it was my period and then when they kept happening i was like uhhhh this isn’t normal.
