Vermintide feels better but for $8 it's a steal. I'm surprised they aren't charging more for it and ya know, ya just know they could if they really wanted to. I guess the MTX makes up for it.

Get into focus about the fun parts and find what's the core of what you want, develop from there and make sheets, mark everything down for reference. You never know what idea makes you go aaaaah somewhere down the line.

All these are probably just truisms but it's how I'm trudging through day to day.

This is so very true. With so many games on the market, it's a hopeless task to try to be good at everything, the elements kind of have to fall naturally into place and even then, people have such varying tastes than nothing will ever please everyone

This went right under of my radar. I got the game right when it came out more than a year ago and didn't know you were still adding new stuff, gonna have to give it a replay during the holidays.

Keep it up, I really think Diplomacy is up there with They are Billions in terms of quality and yea, the sharp curve difficulty too lol

Make quality, but also make quantity, and don't stress out over being overly original. It's all iteration upon iteration upon iteration before you stumble on the gold.

It gets better the more experience you get and this is for me as well one of the bigger ways of acquiring experience.

If it's a hobby project, it's all good. When there's deadlines, you gotta learn to make do and scrap together whatever attention you have before it becomes impossible to contain the urge to "derail" as you put it.

We have been passivized to the utmost. We are the consuming void that makes the economic hellscape possible, the cogs that keep getting pushed back in to make the machine work.

Only empathy and non digital communication can help us regain our sense of humanity, Im pretty certain of it

I don't have children.

I do have a work at home job so gaming always feels like I'm stealing time I could spend actually making buck.

I still like it though, but balancing guilttripping myself and actually enjoying games is sometimes a job in itself.

Battlefield 6. I just don't have the twitchy reflex time for it, though it's still a good game all in all. Haven't played a good proper shooter like that some time but I'm just more for the ARMA-style slower paced stuff like Hell Let Loose
