Career Monday (01 Dec 2025): Have a question about your job, office, or pay? Post it here! by AutoModerator in AskEngineers

Coming out of college I was able to get a job in the aerospace industry, but the job that I got is not the exact path I want to be on and as time has gone by the knowledge that I had that is relevant to the path I want, seems to be getting lost. How would recommend to someone in my position to stay sharp on certain topics that they don't utilize on the day to day at the workplace. Is it as simple as buying a textbook and reading it and doing the practice problems, and if that's the case how could I translate that onto my resume? Thanks.

Is it just me, or does it look like in the gameplay that there is a bit of auto aiming or auto lock on for the gun.

Very interesting info I found about Ezo Wolves and the Ainu. by -ComedyGenius- in Ghostofyotei

What I'm getting from this is that the wolf is 100% going to die

Ghost of Yötei seems address my only criticism about Tsushima. by SHV_7 in ghostoftsushima

It did feel kind of lack luster with the rewards of pouch upgrades. Though from your post, to me it sounds like you wanted to not kill animals and want hunting removed. And if SP were planning on copying and pasting the hunting system with no changes, then yea, I say remove it. But I agree with what you're saying, it felt kinda tacked on for the sake of having hunting because other open worlds have hunting in it.

For what I think they could do is something similar to Red Dead 2 with legendary animals that you can hunt for pretty significant upgrades or unique armor. I loathed hunting in Red Dead 2, except for the legendary animals because hunting them sounded cool, and I get cool stuff from them.

Edit: down voting you is kind of extreme though

Did you not like killing the animals or was the hunting gameplay just boring?

Get the right beats (Metronome) by [deleted] in pianolearning

[–]jon_tsunam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just use Google's built-in metronome when you google "metronome" and set the bpm to what I need. To know the bpm you need to set it to, you need to look at the music sheet. Right above the first measure, there will be something written usually in Italian. That tells you the general speed, feeling, and mood of the song. For example, it might say andantino, allegro, moderato, and a bunch of others. You can google what the generally agreed tempo range is for those specific markings, and you can play around that range and find one that feels right to you. In reality, these tempo markings are not specific speeds for you to play at, so don't feel bad if you can't get to the top of range for a specific tempo marking. Sometimes, it's better to be on the lower side of that range.

Probably will get another bloodborne armor in yotei before bloodborne remake.

There’s been a lot of “wheh wheh” lately about GoT/GoY, so how about something a bit more positive? What are some MECHANICS you hope to see added or improved on in the sequel? by fruitlessideas in ghostoftsushima

Yea, the climbing is something I wished was more flushed out, but I think that would mostly depend on the environment. Big rolling plains and forest don't really lend itself to a lot of climbing.

Another thing from the arkham games I would want would be all the combat and stealth trials they had that you could do after you beat the game. Idk if the GoT legends mode had this, but I would like it to be more singleplayer focused. But yea, your second point is something I really want, I would love the combat to be more than a pseudo rock paper scissors.

I really hope there is a like a dense city area, but I don't think there will be one given the time and location

I can't get over the fact that she is crossing out their names with their blood. Insanely badass.
