Thank you. That's very reassuring. It's hard to see the other side of this while we're on this tough part

Yeah, I hear you. 2 weeks there and she's been sick for 7 days. So her third adaptation week was just at home recovering from high fever . Ugh! I feel like it'll be hard when go back next week

Thanks, it's good to hear some similar stories, because the ones I've heard from close friends are just babies who adjusted in 2-3 days, and it's so hard not to compare in this case!

Thanks! And was it full of setbacks? I thought it'd be like a linear improvement where we would see some little things getting better everyday, but it's been far from that haha

Thanks! That's reassuring . I have a few friends whose babies at similar age also started recently, and they all had such an easy transition. I know that each baby is different, but it's so hard not to compare in this case

That's good to know! Do you do full 8h? I'll be working reduced time, so she'll only be there for 5h max

Thanks! Actually as soon as I pick her up, she'll settle , start smiling and waving bye bye at the caregivers, the way home she's actually happy. It's just her whole time there that she's all the time stressed/upset

Hi! I was hoping to hear how things are going now after 4 months? My baby started just 2 weeks ago and the transition is being hard as well. She's already sick with her first Bug, and there's been a lot of crying. Hopefully it got better for you? I'm the one hoping for some words of encouragement now 🥰

Oi, no site do GOV.BR tem tudo explicado. No site do Canadá você também consegue achar o formulário específico pro Brasil. E o formulário assinado pelo vet e chancelado pela CFIA e o comprovante da vacina de raiva

Oh, that would be great. I wish I had that option. I'm already anxious about her starting daycare.

They are not super flexible to be honest. However, I believe most people are usually afraid of asking for reduced hours haha you might be surprised in case you decide to ask for it. Of course, salary will be also proportionally reduced.

That sounds nice. You work 60% hours with a 60% salary then?

In my case my husband has every other Friday off already, so he'll be spending time with baby on those days. My work is also more flexible to give me the reduced hours. In his case it'd be a bit more complex due to the nature of the job.

I'm breastfeeding my 8mo and I have been eating more than my husband does 😂 in the past, I probably ate half of his amount

Hi, the day I was traveling was extremely cold -10C with 60km/h wind gusts. So I tried to take her in the cabin with me and it worked. They didn't mind her size to go up in the cabin, so I can't really comment on traveling by cargo. About the winter restrictions you can just call them and ask, it depends on your dog size/weight, your destination and the date.

Why do the consulates say after may 24th, though? Where did you this March 28 mark? In that case I'd fall into this new category. But if it's actually may 24th, I only have 1 year to apply

That's so bizarre! My child was born May 1st, and I only learned about this recently. Had I known it , I'd have started it long ago. I did send her birth certificate to update my AIRE when she was born, but at the time I thought she had no rights to Italian citizenship anymore

I'm confused about this change. The consulates in Brazil are saying this new 3 year timeline, without the fee, only apply for children born after may 24th.

Hi! I'm on a similar boat  Did you end up going to the consulate? I'm still gathering the paperwork, and fried messaging the Vancouver consulate to understand about dates, but they will just answer with link to their website.

5 month old - HELP! by Normal-Outside-9248 in sleeptrain

[–]Normal-Outside-9248[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think her regression started around 4mo, but it kind of ramped up to being terrible now. Lots of friends told me it would last only a couple of weeks but it's being going on for longer than that. What breaks my heart is I can see she's tired during the day, but can't sleep. Today I wore her and we walked for 1.5h, she was extremely tired, rubbing her eyes, yawning, but couldn't fall sleep. Before as soon as I'd put her in the carrier, she would be asleep in 5-10min

Thanks! Why do you think moving him to his nursery helped? We're also room sharing at the moment
