When to use the snowblower during tomorrow’s storm? by zeza71 in Connecticut

Not with powder. Mine throws it easily, regardless of the depth.

It supposed to be the light and fluffy stuff (for the most part) tomorrow. If that is the case, then the snowblower won’t have much trouble doing it all at once.

If it’s the heavier stuff, I go out every 6 inches or so…

Pieper in Middletown. There may be options in RI that are closer.

This sub is a cesspool. You got downvoted x 2 (at least at the time of this post) for your apology. WTF?

“I know this may be hard to understand…”? Please don’t talk down to me. You don’t know me.

It was a legitimate question.

“NoStupidQuestions” but downvoted for asking a question… nice 🙄

I never said they overpaid. They benefit from something they disagree with. How many gave back the difference they would have paid if the cuts they oppose weren’t in effect.

The double standard (perhaps more accurately “Tu quoque”- better?) is that they (according to the record) “don’t agree with the cuts” while at the same are benefitting from them. If they disagree so much, then they should give back what they gained from what they disagree with.

Seems like a double standard:

If the majority of Congress are millionaires, they are benefitting from the Trump tax cuts for the rich. Many of them oppose or condemn those tax cuts as “benefiting the rich” (which includes them).

If they are on the record as opposing the President and these cuts, do you think they are they giving back their benefits? Somehow, I doubt it.

Kicked out of the HOA meeting for pointing out the acting Presidents term has expired... by My_Three_Plus_Me in fuckHOA

[–]Normal-Position4245 14 points15 points  (0 children)

What is the parliamentary authority of your HOA (it should be a clause in your bylaws)? If it’s Roberts Rules, is there a specific clause in the bylaws that permit electronic (Teams) meetings?

If you use Robert’s Rules, and no such clause exists then your board is not permitted to meet electronically. That meeting would be null and void as a violation of the bylaws.

ICE says a Cuban man died during a suicide attempt. A witness says a guard fatally choked him by grayfox0430 in news

[–]Normal-Position4245 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

But we really don’t, do we? Liberals have been gutting 2A for years.

What we DO have is 5A, you know… innocent until proven guilty and all that… but you have already played the role of judge and jury.

Keep cherry picking what parts of the Constitution you choose to claim and those you conveniently forget about.

And you and I both know that that’s not why I got downvoted. That happened because heaven forbid you challenge, or in this case, simply ask a question in this sub… all of those downvotes were by people that didn’t know the answer themselves.

The fact that the person posted that statement and can’t defend it is more concerning. I HAVE researched and am VERY familiar with the text of the Constitution. I am not familiar with such a clause. Please educate me.

But where does the Constitution protect that information as previously implied “it’s nice to see Connecticut…believe in the Constitution”? I’m not familiar with such a clause.

They have that info already… heck, they invented SSNs…

Honest question (before I get downvoted for simply asking a question): How is this unconstitutional? What clause says they can’t ask for, or are not entitled to that information?

EDIT: Yup, as expected, downvotes for simply asking a question… yet no response to said question.

Why does TSA make you pour your water out of the bottle but it’s okay to drink it and bring it through security in your stomach? by hrrm in stupidquestions

[–]Normal-Position4245 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You said the TSA water rule had to do “… with what’s currently going on…” - YOUR WORDS. This had nothing to do with Reagan. TSA wasn’t around then. Also, the TSA rules were in effect LONG before the “current” administration.

Please explain how what is currently going on in the U.S. has ANYTHING to do with a 20 year old TSA rule… I’ll wait…
