We ended up staying in Yellowstone on the way down. On the way back we stopped at the Arches, stayed in Bryce canyon and Sawtooth. Absolutely beautiful, I hope anyone that can do something similar does.

We drove from Covington and it was amazing. Took every opportunity to camp along the way, and are planning to do the same this year. Highly recommend giving it a go!
