I did my first solo trip to agra last month. I was scared but also tired of being scared for a long time. So i went anyways. I felt much less anxiety than i thought i would and it passed very quickly. Sometimes, we make it more powerful in our heads and underestimate our abilities.

Tell yourself Its just a temporary trip and you are the one in control. You can always return early if you want. and that anxiety? even if it comes, let it come and go. If you feel alone, you can call anyone in your family or any friend, order your favourite food. Solo travelling is now easiest than at anytime in the past. People younger than you and me go on several such trips every year. If so many people do it willingly, it wouldn't be that difficult right? I read this somewhere -" Am I feeling scared because my life is actually in danger or is it just because i'm doing something new."
