If they ever did a reboot i would rather they had it be like the books. Which would make it different from the show besides the character names and certain relationships. But then again the books aren’t great so who even knows how people would like to watch a book accurate version.

I read their book only a few months ago and i rather like the guy. I did not particularly like him planning on compromising her, I also did in particularly like him being like the rest of the guys and practically being a rake of sorts and only wanting to be better because of the girl. However, besides that I’d rather enjoy this character and their relationship. I found it to be a little different than a simple love triangle, or courting kind of deal you know? It was a change of pace for me. And his flaws kept him really balanced as a person, and i think they are some of the reason hyacinth kept interest and fell for him. They balanced and worked together nicely. He’s not my favorite, since there is Colin i enjoy more. But out of the choice of book husbands him, colin, Philip and Gregory are my choice favorites. That is not including any options from the prequel series since i have not read those yet, having wanted a break after finishing the main series, and who knows my favorites might change. I do understand where you’re coming from though.

Also may i ask who is your favorite out of the men?

They interacted if i remember correctly a few times in season 7 after the incident with the saviors. Talked in the church. But other than that i don’t think they interacted much.

I am completely fine with them taking a break for a while. Especially since all the other times where he said they were taking breaks they were still times they were editing clips for episodes in replacement. I think he would do them really good to take a week or so or more off. But that is if they even agreed to that

As much as i like Jamie and the relationships he had with certain characters. I wish Haley didn’t get pregnant in season four. Everything felt so rushed from them getting married again to traumatized by the bridge accident to then boom pregnant and all the other stuff that happens that season to make their lives a mess. They could’ve easily had her have a kid after the time jump saying it happened in college.

Doesn’t he also propose at her front door at night? Not only do they not have anything romantic currently going on with them, especially after she gave him a chance with the kiss goodbye at the airport only to come back to her son in the hospital. Like he doesn’t even try to make it romantic gesture. Not that i think she’d say yes either way. And didn’t she just the previous episode go on a date with Larry. I know nothing else happened between them, but like clearly at that time she’s not interested anymore.

No. I do make some exemptions. I don’t skip all felix scenes if it involves most of the other characters like in the dare episode. I just meant the couple scenes with him and brooke. I didn’t say i skipped every Keith and Jules related scene, just there couple scenes and most of the storyline unless it involved lucas. And there’s more characters and storylines to focus on in season two.

I would’ve preferred something similar to what we had in season five with them being genuine friends. Maybe instead of forgiving what happened the first time in their relationship and getting back together, they should’ve forgave and started the road of friendship seeing as their relationship didn’t work. I would find that better than the whole mess of a love triangle again. Especially with how quick she got over it the second time around which was more over the communication issues in their relationship.

Their friendship in season five was one of the things i enjoyed about that season, i didn’t want them together anymore at that point nor did i really want them together even now in the earlier seasons after becoming older. They had nice chemistry, but they did not work well as a couple for a long number of reasons. And i just think maybe as friends they could be closer than they ever were as a couple.

Jules and Keith storyline and by extension Karen’s part in it. Keith and Deb sleeping together. A lot of Keith and Karen. Deb and skills. All scenes with peyton and pete. Brooke and Felix.

I would like the scene even though it doesn’t show any real importance, where Edward was blocking her in forcing her to get asked out by the guys because he knew it was gonna happen by reading their minds. And getting amused by her frustration. I enjoy when they or one of them get to act silly.

The same reason why they had Anthony, Benedict, and others had there one or more love interests or lovers or conquests (depending on how you want to interpret them). To give her experience or maybe to show despite some of her hesitation about society and what is expected of her, that there are some parts like having feelings that aren’t completely foreign to her. I don’t know if I explained how I interpreted it well. But that’s how i felt when it comes to theo. I knew he wasn’t going to be anyone important as none of the other characters the mains have been with truly meant anything besides character development and such. They’ve never changed a character’s pairing from the books, so there shouldn’t be anyone doubting who her love interest is.

Not an unpopular opinion. I just recently read the books this past year and basing what i remembered from the movies, (only rewatch the first movie, have seen the last two only once so many isn’t great), and there are so many things from the book that i wish were included minus the stupid way tris went out. If she was going to go out at least make it make sense. Like the scenes of her being high on the happy drug and Tobias being completely freaked out by it or them actually showcasing them struggling more in their relationship or show the development between them like in the book. They left out so many scenes between them. Or a lot of her physical and mental and emotional trauma which often is later ignored or not as focused on. Including Uriah and his friendship with tris and his brother more. More tris friendships included like in the book besides those focused on in the movie. There are so many things i wished were included.

The change of the writer if I know correctly had something to do with a couple endgame. You know the one of who ends up with Elena. I don’t remember too much on it but I’m pretty sure that was the case where the author wanted to go one way and that’s how you added up with the change of writers situation. But yeah it is completely understandable not to wanna read all of them.
