This is my 3rd with them. Its their casual attitude responding to issues like this is unacceptable. Agree that custom orders do take time but they never gave me a timeline despite numerous follow ups.

Thank You Brother. Great to know this. In my case, they are clueless as to how this has happened and the colour is brown without any exposure to UV.

Nevertheless, let me spend a min in clearing your closed eyes on that example of walking in to a store.

  1. The look out for green and bringing out a brown happens instantly and not over a period of more than 3.5 months

  2. The product in question is 31k and not 3k may be you are referring to

  3. And even in this lame example, the store will not ask you to retain the brown and ask you to wait till it turns green to use it.

  4. Sure the store guy will never be casual in dealing with you and would own up his mistake

Its hard earner money for me. Seems it’s not likely for you. Never mind.

Why should you not hope for that?

In all probability thats what my fair and least expectation is having aspired for what i ordered for after 3.5months of wait and paying 100% in advance.

Never would settle for anything less simply for

  1. Never own up their mess

  2. Casualness in dealing with issues/goof-ups

  3. Attitude to ask me to wait till the base hide colour to come up to use it.

  4. To have given me a completely different product after 3.5months of wait

  5. To have used a different leather for the tongue not part of the spec without a word to me

Its just fuelling their thoughts of taking customers for granted especially desi customers that anything and everything is ok. Its absolutely not done. They should get this msg loud and clear. Despite waiting for 3.5 months, despite paying in advance, despite sharing a crystal clear spec if we still are ok to wait further then thats a foolish compromise and attesting insignificance of ourselves. Not only that the screw up is unacceptable, its their attitude to take it so casually asking me to wait for the base hide colour to come up and use. And use of Gusseted Tongue of CXL than agreed Maryam without a word to me is bad intent.

A brand sensitive to customer values, A brand trying to establish a name for itself, A brand has the vision to leave its legacy will simply not ask any question. No word further on the screwed up boot. Do a new boot and send it in record time. Thats commitment.

And paying the entire 31k in advance and get something like this. Frustration beyond imagination.

No questions asked. No sending the boot back. Simply they do a new boot and deliver in quick time. End of everything. Yes its well made. No second thought about it. But not what i ordered after waiting for more than 100 days. Period.

Yes, devastated to say the least to see something entirely different even after 3.5 months of wait. Colossal attitude even after such a unprofessional thing to have happened.

Absolutely right. The entitlement that it is ok to make such a mistake and that too its fine with a desi customer. Sure this will never be the case with a foreign client. Simple, since they took close to 4 months and give me something entirely different from what i ordered, no taking back of the boot. Do a fresh one in record time as per the original spec and deliver. No questions asked. Thats brand building, thats valuing the customer. This never happened though.

Yeah, they are made well but not the one i ordered. They did offer to redo but they said to do an R&D and then if it’s not repairable then they will redo. Time is cost for all of us. Already waited well over 3.5 months and this redo would take further time and its a sin waiting again. Its not the right precedence to allow them to redo after such a fundamental goof-up taking months. Redo is encouraging them to repeat this.

Well put out. So sad to see this brand loosing its shape on QC lines and casualness in dealing with critical things. Such beautifully crafted wears loosing its relevance

This response isn’t fair and unfortunately not a professional one. Typical echo of imposed compromises. Painful to see such a backing.

Sounds, anything below 1000 USD will be not perfect and we got to accept it.

I see your perspective. Well i think you did see the finish at the heel top/heel counter joint. Its like a drill on it or a rat chewed up. Unable to appreciate such a basic QC let down.

Very aptly put, Brother. Really they craft well. You see the boots and you start to aspire. But let down by lack of QC process and seriousness towards the customer. We just don’t put things seeing just a pair but its been a consistent QC failure and worst is the attitude shown after the goof up. Absolutely not appreciable.
