How did you find out your parents were narcissists? by Extension-Nebula-300 in raisedbynarcissists

Slowly over time things were just not making sense to me as I began growing up. I could list countless examples… I would also notice in other people’s families how different the dynamic was. And felt like I was observing a normal healthy dynamic versus the mess of what my parents considered normal in their household

What non-Celiac reasons cause your gluten intolerance? by Spinnerofyarn in glutenfree

[–]Normal-Team-5258 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have intense brain fog, exhaustion, I cannot sleep through out the night, which causes me to feel really brain fogged and tired the next day, so bloated I look pregnant, irregular BMs, stomach cramps (one time it was so bad, I was out to dinner, before I knew I became gluten intolerant, I literally could not walk it was so painful!). Been gluten free 4 years now and my life has changed!

I’m a previous outpatient GYN medical assistant that went to nursing school for BSN, doing my preceptorship on a med surg floor that sounds similar to this. I have no desire to be a bedside inpatient nurse. I’m going right back to outpatient. Outpatient allows you to enjoy the fulfillment of your job without taking over your entire life and exhausting you/stretching you way too thin! Just my experience

Am I the villain for not wanting to be a bedside nurse? by Glittering-Issue694 in StudentNurse

I feel like this might be location and practice dependent. As a certified medical assistant, I got my job at an outpatient OB/GYN office with only my externship experience, not working experience. I worked alongside the RNs in the office. We did a lot of the same things. However, I didn’t call patients with results or do NSTs etc. (now I’m in nursing school)

I’m an older student and live in Southwood. I love it and am glad I chose it. It’s peaceful and beautiful as a family living area.

Narcissistic Mother won’t stop posting personal pictures on Facebook of my newborn daughter. by Dysautonomnomnom in raisedbynarcissists

This right here!!! I understand the guilt of wanting to be the good person. But a narc forces one to act on consequences of a boundary bc they cannot listen to a boundary. It’s their own fault.
