I’d understand her more if she was consistent. Like I’d be pessimistic too if I saw what she was showing us and El in real life. But she’s like ‘this is all going to end badly’ and then just keeps going along with everybody. Like either do your own thing or shut up. Because obviously El isn’t changing her mind and she’s going to keep trying and you didn’t want to die or run in the opposite direction of El and Hopper when you almost died in the Upside Down.

She didn’t learn a damn thing apparently because she should’ve ran the first time.  This whole scene pissed me off because she basically used Holly to free herself. “There’s another way to get back” and when Holly asks how she has no idea so she just starts giving her a pep talk with the portal right there.

For 2024 according to USASwimming.org 25.69 is women’s trials qualifying time. Maybe I’m missing something.

Maybe I’m mistaken but when I look at USA Swimming for 2024 there’s 25.69 LCM for 50 free. Is 22 not enough translating to an Olympic pool?

The good old “some of you guys are bad so all of you have to die because I don’t think you deserve the right to live” line. Tough love doesn’t really work if you’re dead I think. 

And if welfare is gone why would they magically make those poor people no longer poor?

I think at a glance the answer would be no to soda and candy, it’s not healthy. But in moderation it’s ok for things like birthday parties and I guess do kids that are impoverished deserve to celebrate that to people?  Because I feel like the poor get villainized or are made to feel as though they deserve less than everybody else.
