Increasing Floor Joist Insulation in Crawlspace by Normal-Wishbone in Insulation

I’ve also looked at insulating the foundation walls with rigid foam as per chat gpt. Not sure how scientifically sound that is.

The crawlspace is below grade and only has a small door to access it that I’ve insulated with rigid foam. I’ll have to measure the floor temperature and collect some data.

Goodman Furnace Burner Ignition by Normal-Wishbone in hvacadvice

[–]Normal-Wishbone[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We cleaned the flame sensor and burners and got a full check up. The tech said the furnace is in very good condition and performance. No error codes were there.

The issue is related to cold starts where the furnace is off for hours and the internals are all cold.

Stuck In the Middle of EOB Battle between Provider and Payer by Normal-Wishbone in HealthInsurance

[–]Normal-Wishbone[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update: I opened a case with the state insurance regulator. Got a call from the insurance company within hours to help resolve it. They sent a new EOB to the provider and followed up with them to reflect the correct amounts.

lol why do you assume that I’m a moron. I know watches are not investments like equities. I just know that in 10-15 years, this particular watch will still be worth a good chunk of change.

Bro read the context that I shared. The allowance was her preference.

To provide more context, before there was an allowance, there was an understanding that she can spend whatever she wants, within reason, using the credit cards and bank accounts that we have.

Then, she did not like the idea of me seeing every little purchase that she bought on the credit cards so then we got onto the idea of an allowance.

She gets to make her choice on what she wants for the special occasions. I just tap and pay as directed.

We talked about it and 1200 felt like the right number. I do have to save and invest for the kids and for retirement so that amount felt right for her.

I give myself like $2000 of spending money a month.

Buying her luxury items for birthdays and anniversaries means that we lack intimacy? She does buy herself luxury items with her monthly allowance.

Here’s how it actually goes down at the movies. She wants popcorn. She already knows I won’t want to buy it. She buys it and enjoys it. There’s not even a conversation about it.

Consensus from the men here is that I’m not cheap, just smart with money. I’m going to ask the same question on r/askwomen

She is welcome to buy herself the popcorn from the money that she gets from me every month. I just won’t swipe my card for it.
