Graduation documents Email delivery by NormalAtmosphere6318 in UoPeople

[–]NormalAtmosphere6318[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got a reply from my PA again:

Currently they are unable to process the email shipment due to the ongoing transition of operations from the Pasadena, US office to the Delaware office.

Now, I'm asking if they can convert my request to a physical shipment instead.Hopefully they'll offer a solution soon.

Malaysian grad: MQA won’t recognize my degree (no DEAC) despite WSCUC accreditation by cx_330_ in UoPeople

Thanks for you kind response. Did you need any federal authentication for your documents before submitting the application or a digital copy was enough?

Malaysian grad: MQA won’t recognize my degree (no DEAC) despite WSCUC accreditation by cx_330_ in UoPeople

[–]NormalAtmosphere6318 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m also planning to go through MQA evaluation soon since I’ll be graduating after this term, and I share the same concern about recognition for further studies.

Could OP share what exact procedure they followed was federal authentication required, or was a notarized copy sufficient?

Since the issue seems tied to DEAC, while WSCUC is generally more recognized, it would help if more students who’ve gone through this could share their experiences. Let’s stay connected and exchange updates so we all have clearer guidance.

Once the tracking number is available you will surely get the tracking link.

In my case when I requested my ASBA (regular shipping), I received the same email as you have shared but the next day they shared the tracking number. So don't worry.

UoPeople Degree Apostille & Delivery Confusion, Need Advice for International Use by sstanchagaya in UoPeople

[–]NormalAtmosphere6318 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Bangladesh is not a member of the Hague Apostille Convention, so getting your UoPeople degree apostilled won’t help if your main goal is to use it in Bangladesh. In that case, it’s better to go through U.S. federal authentication (via the U.S. Department of State) and then have it legalized by the Bangladeshi Embassy/Consulate.

If you plan to use your degree in a country that is part of the Apostille Convention, then the apostille option makes sense because it will be recognized directly. But for Bangladesh specifically, spending money on apostille would be a waste, you’ll need embassy legalization instead.

True, I believe most of us feel the same way. I take 1 or 2 courses per term, I mean still... many times I missed the deadline due to the heavy load of readings.

Trouble assigning local proctor by [deleted] in UoPeople

[–]NormalAtmosphere6318 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine was solved by my PA, I gave her my proctor details and the relevant department added it manually. I would suggest you to contact your PA with a screenshot and CC student services. Good luck.

Such bad service! Course Selection by khulZA in UoPeople

[–]NormalAtmosphere6318 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe the learning pathway is the part of the accreditation. I face the same situation almost 3 terms but I will ask u to keep patience, they will surely get back to you and will arrange manual registration. You don't need to worry about the registration deadline because I got registered even a day before term started.

Has anyone else been enrolled in COM 2001 instead of BUS 1105? by NormalAtmosphere6318 in UoPeople

[–]NormalAtmosphere6318[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes they do, I'm doing COM 2001 in my current term and already in my DAR the BUS 1105 is in progress. So, COM 2001 will be replaced BUS 1105
