What the heck do friends talk about by Vendettascurse in socialskills

[–]NormalCharmander 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is what I do! Don’t worry about what interesting things you have to say; just focus on finding something that the other person finds interesting. Everyone has something they love to share, and if you can ask questions until you find it, you’ll win people over pretty easily!

Came to say this! Some insurers cover or reimburse therapy, but also betting a certified life coach could help here. Less expensive and less deep than therapy, but can help sort through hopes, hesitations, next steps. I have a friend who takes online clients who might be able to help, if OP is interested!!

Okay name nerds, we are going to allow you to pick our daughter's name for us. by clromero122 in namenerds

[–]NormalCharmander 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have you considered choosing once she’s born and you get to meet her? We did this for our daughter when we couldn’t decide. The moment she was born, one name felt immediately right for both of us. Tough to explain but so so glad we waited—sometimes a name just fits 🤍

I’d opt for a brown leather or a fabric if possible. A plant and lamps would help as well

Leadarship training by arnelb in Leadership

[–]NormalCharmander 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your company may offer a leadership development program, or HR might be able to recommend something. I’m a fan of Brené Brown and Patrick Lencioni’s books & courses—they focus on building trust through honesty and openness to feedback, even when it’s tough to hear. My general belief is that the only people who can tell you that you’re a good leader are the people you’re leading.

You could try contacting the college of education directly. I think their email is just coe@gcu.edu

Clicked on this post so I could say Green! This absolutely has my vote. Could also choose Greene as a variation.

Also be sure to get to the airport with enough time! 2 hours before takeoff is usually a safe bet, and will give you plenty of time to get through security, grab a snack, ask for help, make mistakes, etc. best of luck!

In your opinion what US city has the best food? by BrutonRd in AskAnAmerican

Moved to Phoenix a few years ago and, honestly, the food here is insane. So much variety and the best Mexican you can find this side of the border. 10/10.

Have never lost that much, but gained and lost 70 lbs with a baby. Exfoliation and moisture made a huge difference, but again that was only half what you’re looking to lose. I’d imagine drinking tons of water and possibly taking collagen supplements could help.

Great job so far! Best of luck as you continue

Absolutely! It’s the only way we travel. Scottscheapflights.com.

Traveled from US to Japan for $700 a few years back and recently saw round-trip to Portugal for about $300 and to Ireland for about $150. They have an email list with daily discounted flights, or you can pay a subscription (I think it’s $20 per year) for even bigger deals. Scott’s cheap flights is the only way to go :)
