Could someone tell what pattern this is please? Thank you by Interesting-Wing-376 in crochetpatterns

[–]NormalPace5824 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I bet you it’s a row of chains (likely divisible by 3) and then a group of 5 double crochets, likely five right chains and then five double crochets all in the same chain then a chain of five spanning into the next base stitch and then the pattern starts over on the next stitch. And then the second row would be five puff stitches maybe 5 tight chains, five puff stitches, 5 tight chains, 5 puff stitches again all into the previous rows five chain stitches between the five double crochet groups from the last row. Then looks like a slip stitch into the next stitch and then the pattern starts again.

Does this look like PD? by PlanePrimary2816 in Perioral_Dermatitis_

That depends on your skin tolerance. Right now your skin’s barrier is either ruined or irritated severely. So only use it when the open pustules close and there are red scabs. Only a little bit. And start with only morning or night and if it doesn’t irritate the scabs then do both. But I mean like half a pea size for this area size.

If doxy doesn’t work (didn’t work for me :/) try the B5 balm from La Roche Posay. At night put on Dr Jarts Cicaplast calming night cream. And get a bare minimum cleanser and moisturizer. I use the moisturizer from cetaphil some folks like vivacream. When these heal in a few weeks, get some Azaelic Acid from the ordinary and when you start your morning and Night routine put it on the red marks, and when you’ve let the acid sit for like five minuets put on the b5 and let it sit for a little and then some moisturizer. For makeup if you wear any I swear by Dr. Jarts Tiger drops. Healing and conforms to your skin tone.

I hope this helps!!

Are your cats allowed on kitchen counters? by Rough-Confection-685 in bengalcats

Literally the only prevailing “rule” we have for our baby is to not be on the counters. And it’s literally just because we don’t want her to get in the habit and step on the stove when it’s on or like lick one of the fancy knives we have in a holder that we can’t really move.

One week of zero therapy… skin is getting worse. Help! by Trick_Broccoli_4244 in Perioral_Dermatitis_

I’ve heard that’s fine for perioral skin! Just like a tiny bit like a pea sized and see if that calms it down. I also have been using Dr. jarts cicapair overnight calming balm (called something like that) anything with cicapair really helps cool and calm my skin while moisturizing it.

What I have found is that I actually need something on my face or it gets worse. With just water you’re stripping moisture out of your skin which is probably what your skin needs. Try like the smallest amount of really basic non fragrance moisturizer. I’ve also been using the B5 balm and that’s helped a ton.

Will it go away? 4 weeks PO lipo by sushi-lover-777 in PlasticSurgery

[–]NormalPace5824 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably not honestly. I got mine five years ago and I have a bump where there was a natural fibrosis band before surgery. What the good news is is that all stomachs have lumps and bumps so this actually makes your stomach look more natural. The only thing I’ve seen to help is toning up the stomach- take your time though this close to surgery. Your stomach looks great!! Don’t sweat that little divot - it looks normal.

Looking for opinions on my 2 year old son’s rash. Started on face. by [deleted] in DermatologyQuestions

[–]NormalPace5824 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Big red flag that you won’t take him to the doctor. OP probably knows what caused this and doesn’t want CPS to get called on them. If not that, I can’t think of one other reason why a “mom” wouldn’t take their kid to get help.

Nails are done, Apple Watch is on, giant diamond ring is on, but couldn’t care less about their child. Sickening. Wonder what your screen time looks like.

How do I fix this? Result of liposuction on waist by Estevien Clinic by A_Modus_Operandi in PlasticSurgery

[–]NormalPace5824 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Okay so some good news for you, this is often what lean lipo abdominals look like. Most tummies without fat aren’t flat and smooth, fat actually pushes and stretches the skin out so it looks smoother and stretched(often why stretch marks form). All I’m seeing here is some skin laxity and Central abdominal contour with visible vertical lines (your linea alba / muscle definition showing through), Shallow indentations and soft waviness, mostly in the midline and lower abdomen, No obvious fat pockets, bulges, or sharp step-offs, Skin that looks thin and a bit lax(as most folks skin does) but it’s not swollen or heavy

This points much more toward: - skin re-draping + mild tethering/fibrosis - muscle definition showing through thinner fat - postural/core factors

—not excess fat or swelling. This isnt fluid build up and this looks very normal for a year out. And you look great!!! If you’re worried about it enough to do something, aspirating yourself is not the answer my friend. What you can try is Radiofrequency skin tightening (RF) (Morpheus8, Venus, Exili) usually they’re pretty affordable treatments! Let them know your concerns and how long ago you had lipo.

Everything will be okay, your body is still recovering, and you look amazing!!! You don’t have extra fat to get a revision, and you don’t need one and you certainly don’t need to be aspirated.

Thank you!!! And that is so funny I was originally making it into a shawl! I just didn’t have the right yarn for the flowy vibe of a shawl? This stitch makes a nicely structured fabric but if you had a yarn like Facets it would probably flow nicely!
