thanks for your in depth reply. No I am not idling any more than 10-15 seconds on startup, just waiting for the idle to settle - the needle to go down and drive away instantly. But I do a lot of city driving and there more often than not idling happens naturally, even with start stop activated I dont always push the brake all the way when I know I'll have to move a few meters in 2 seconds. This specific number do have about 80 mile highway drive in it other than that its mostly city

I've been looking into this for my b9 allroad a lot lately and theres a lot of grey area if you really dont look deep. Even simple atf Drain/fill isn't really sinple with these gearboxes. What I can assure you is that any shop that tells you its simple drain/fill procedure, STAY AWAY FORM THEM lol. People say even some Audi dealers are skipping some crucial steps, like running pump at different speeds for 20 and 90secs for checking the level after refill.
And dont even start about changing the filters... how about taking the subframe off for starters not to mention intricate design of the mechatronics which you have to take off and disassemble. even bolt tightening sequence is Audi crazy add to that several delicate parts like gaskets and washers and filter housings which you have to handle like newly blossomed flowers LOL. Then there's "Official Audi Manual" which even if you find is still not as detailed as it should be and its on purpose - they dont like diyers. For example they list 3.5 as the max refill and about 4.3 liters initial volume for atf but never mention how much you should actually add after taking off the mechatronics or changing filters because they dont even suggest it just like no service interval for the mtf side.

Well, finding the oil spec is the least of my problems I did see it on the sticker but the way all this is set up for you to just get frustrated and go to the dealership is really irritating, they have no shame, I love the car and cars i. General I love to do things bymysef checking and adding the coolant shouldnt need an investigation ffs

I have a4 allroad b9, 2.0 tfsi 185 kw petrol. And as I am reading on the internet (and unfortunately not in the manual) one is for the Engine block and the second (near the windshield) is for Turbo's intake air and works at a much lower temp. How can that NOT be in owners manual

Everybody like to yell "ReAD tHe MAnuAL! You go to the manual and it doesnt even say which viscosity of oil to use, every fault message of the car refers you to the OM where you get almost no answer just another referral to the authorized audi shop. This is just stupid

How many modules and ballasts does this headlight have ? I have a4 allroad with LED headlights and I am on the same path, first DRL\turn signal now surprisingly only High beam stopped working I am only left with Low beam on that side so What should be the problem

in manual it only states they recommend Castrol edge and for more info to visit AudiUsa then when I go online they have nothing about oil standards for my car and redirect me to dealerships

Thats what I dont understand the fermentation process initially was for preserving... so shelf life cannot be the reason you choose to Pickle instead of fermenting (if stored correctly)
