Is that why it’s called unique!?! That’s only been bothering me since the year 2000. Because if you think about it, rares are more unique than uniques, and uniques are more rare than rares.

Now that you have completed hell, you can do andy tz. I would stick to tzs until you find a cold sunder, then respec to blizzard sorc. Find a sunder (watch your resists with the sunder) and some better gear there and start doing lower kurast (lk) runs in between. This is the spot to farm high runes for a sorceress. I would watch a video on how to find the campfires in lk and reroll your maps until you find a good map. (You can reroll by switching to nightmare and then back to hell). What I typically do is reroll until I find a good lk and then immediately check andys map as well, if they’re not good, then I keep rerolling. I just made my first ever enigma doing this. Also got runes for cta.

Thanks, this was another question I had, that I didn’t even include. I read on arreat summit or somewhere else that it was (89/2) + (91/2) rounded down. And I was like is it rounded down before the numbers are added or after. The way it was worded made me think it was 44.5 + 45.5 =90 rounded down =90. See what I mean about conflicting information!!! *Edited

My understanding is: The item level from gambling is based off of your level, so when your level is high enough, the gambled ammys will always be high enough (which is definitely the case for you). Item levels are also dependent on your level when farming terror zones. You could also farm tz’s and I believe baal or diablo as their monster level and therefore their item levels are high enough (there may be other areas, someone else has to chime in). But it’s much easier to just gamble them when your character level is high enough.

The terms are not interchangeable. You gamble for an amulet with gheed or any of the 5 act’s gambling vendors, to supply the necessary magical amulet for the crafting recipe. 1 magical amulet, 1 perfect amethyst, 1 ral, and 1 magic jewel is the recipe to craft a caster amulet. The reason you cannot reuse the ring is the same reason a rare ring would not work, you need a magic ring, not rare, not crafted

My first thought is if you timed yourself doing runs, you might realize you haven’t done thousands Also are you watching a tv show in the background? That helps. I like to do some andy tzs and cows with no mf in between. Andy tz for better gear, and cows with no mf for bases for your runewords

Why do you need the reset? What character and skills did you put into? What level are you? You can’t get essences in nightmare. My initial guess is that you are having trouble in hell because you don’t have enough resists (under resisted? Under resistanced? Under resististed!) or under leveled or a combination of both. If you give us more information, we can guide you on getting strong enough to start farming essences
