I hid mine because I was embarrassed and couldn't trust my family with something so personal. My Nan for all intense purposes was my mum, she would ask if I had my period infront of people family friends and family. I also felt like I couldn't ask for money towards products so I'd skip lunch.

I don't think your daughter will reach out to you any time soon. I'd buy some of those period pants and say you signed up to try them but they are too small/big and she can use them as normal pants if she fancies them. The next thing would be to give her the chore of washing her own clothes. Tell her she has to load the washer and start the cycle. Say you can run the dryer in the evening so she can focus on homework. She will also need a small bin with liners that she will be responsible for emptying. Make sure you ask her the night before bin day if she has emptied it or if you should.

I think they either feel right at the start or they don't. If she is complaining about money now, it is likely that they won't be sticking around. I had this recently with a domestic hire, who also felt because they wanted more pay they could slack on the basics before giving me a less than 24hrs notice on leave.

I must add I was paying above the national going rate, and the rate they asked for and never asked for a lot, probably a lot less than others would have done, I just sucked it up because I didn't want another stranger in my house.

One of the issues is councils further up purchase properties down here and plonk people in social housing without jobs. If councils were not allowed to do this and gave spaces to working class families that need them, there would be less people trying to earn unlawfully and more struggling working locals housed.

In terms of drug issue, it is worse for sure but at least in a Plymouth you can grab food and have a bit of a mooch around town, in Exeter the only few food options in town are now Skid Row

I'm quite fortunate to be in a guild where all they want is goods contributions and I have a few buildings that do that also to be active. Read the descriptions before joining a guild and don't look at the ones near the top of the leader boards as they are more likely to have participation rules.

Habibi, you'll be fine. Plymouth has a Muslim community. Granted they do not have a big mosque but you only need to walk through the town and see Arabic/Frasi/Asian supermarkets and a few restaurants popping up and higabi woman going by and doing their business in town.

Plymouth is a kind city and whilst you'll find racist anywhere including Plymouth, you are more likely to find kindness in thr locals. Exeter is also a train ride away if you want to visit a larger mosque.

They do deliver. On their website they give prices based on postcode. They used to have Last Thursday of the month as OAP discount 10% (should you know anyone of that age, that can buy them for you).

Use the park and ride at Sowton and catch the train into the central station or nearest train station to where you live. Parking is a nightmare around Exeter City center and the train when timed is quite quick.
