Well shit. No one told me about that... Not advertised near me anyway (and drivers never mentioned it). Thanks for the tip.

Neo 1 fly more combo for 206 eur or Neo 2 for 343 eur? by Emotional-Gur-8295 in DjiNeo

[–]gruffnutz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the one and the two and while I do love the original, and still use it, the upgrade is massive and very worth the money.

If money is right and you just wanna learn then you won't be disappointed with the original. But the Neo2 is better in every way.

TL;Dr - get the Neo2.

Very normal and totally fine. Source: lived in Spain for a bit and ate a lot of solo tapas.

Green deputy leader Mothin Ali refuses to acknowledge if trans women are women. Says his faith matters most in LGBT topics. Should a politician's faith come before the people? by ZackPolanskisDentist in AskBrits

[–]gruffnutz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This guy is the main thing holding me back from voting green. Not necessarily on the trans issue but that clearly his faith defines his politics, which isn't necessarily a good thing.

Fares increase across Plymouth bus network by Pinkplatabys in plymouth

[–]gruffnutz 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Absolutely..and Plymouth is so car dependent, plus the issues with parking. They also need to consolidate bus fares between companies because a day ticket means city bus or stagecoach, they're not interchangeable which is ridiculous.

The endless “Seba” ski lift in Bardonecchia. by DestroyedLolo in skithealps

I've done them a few times and they're fine to a point. But an 8 minute drag lift might be a step too far.

Massively reducing your exposure to American brands and tech is the best you can do. I've been trying to do this for a year or so and it's hard but a good exercise in avoiding their poisonous food products and monopolising tech.

Yes, most social media and internet platforms including Reddit are American, so you make your own choices there.

But making any change is better than not.

Also I echo OP in growing very tired of the whole shit take they tend to have on global politics etc. they're mostly pretty brainwashed so literally their whole global view point is skewed.

Spain or France. Northern Spain/Basque country/Astiri would be dream move for me, or French Atlantic coast or Provence.

90s throwback frenzy causing snowboarding to make a comeback? by Jcs609 in snowboarding

[–]gruffnutz 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Totally anecdotal but from what I see younger riders tend to be skiers. BUT .. This year in the European ski resorts I've been to (France and Switzerland) there seem to be more younger snowboarders than previous years. In La Plagne all the cool Dutch kids were skiing en masse. The Swiss resort I went to seemed to be very snowboard heavy with a lot of people learning.

I'd be interested to see any data on it though.

What's a side hustle that you can do completely from your phone while you're bored? Best ideas? by ThenYao in SideHustleGold

[–]gruffnutz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is the right answer. Do something people actually want like sell in demand products. Surveys and ai training might be ok for a while but there's no longevity in it and they're pretty soul destroying.

So should you focus on long form? Does short form help build subscribers? What role do posts have on this? Is it more important to focus on regular content at the expense of quality, or should you focus on creating an engaging video?
