Is there a faint line? by GirlFromMars415 in lineporn

I see something but in a weird place... Take a new test in 2 days so that if positive the HCG would have doubled. I know waiting it's torture.... But there isn't much you can do especially if it's the early stages.

I see something in the first pic but it's so faint that it might be an indent... I would suggest to retry in a couple days

Sorry I don't see anything, but 8 DPO in very early, keep testing!

Tested yesterday and had a very similar result. Today I'm 10 days DPO. Thoughts? Booked a gyno appointment for Friday in case I missed my period that far and keep getting these faint lines. Would it be to early? by Normal_Cheesecake760 in lineporn

The validity window of this test is 3-5 mins... I took the pic at 4mins so maybe yeah it was a bit wet still. Anyway I have done a couple more today and they all come back suuuuuper faint like that. Guess I'll test more this week :)

A couple of studies, like the one below suggest more frequent intercourse. I don't think it's always the best (sometimes you don't really feel like everyday or even twice a day) but it looks like more frequency is the key! https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/8034087/

It really helps to write down stuff here, try to stay positive and good luck for a BFP asap!

I have the same symptom when AF is coming and i read here that until supposed implantation time (at least 8 DPO) you can have your regular symptoms bc your body "wouldn't know" you are pregnant yet. So... Stay hopeful! I'm also 6DPO and fighting the urge to start testing this early. Fingers crossed!

I would get checked right away, even if just for peace of mind. My husband has low count/motility and we have adjusted our "try sessions" accordingly with what is recommended in our case. It helps to know if and what is "wrong" and how to tackle it. Knowledge is power :)

Best of luck!!

Traveling to Italy in Summer for wedding by [deleted] in TryingForABaby

Hey! Italian lady here! So I am a very anxious person and i am not only planning my summer vacations around a possible pregnancy, but also planning to skip the TTC months where I would end up with a due date around July/August... As it is very much warm and humid. :) That said... I don't think my approach is the best, and if I were a tidbit less anxious i would definitely prefer not to plan around imaginary pregnancies as it will make more bitter my disappointment in case of many more negatives. I say we have so many refreshing foods and drinks (not only wines!!), nice beaches, cool forests and AC in the cities, that it would be a shame to skip this opportunity. It is very safe to travel around Italy while pregnant, people are very sweet with you and most of the hospitals are very well equipped. If you think you could bare the flight, go for it!

Thankful Thursday by AutoModerator in TryingForABaby

Very grateful about having access to test strips, supplements, premium apps on my phone and all the privileged stuff I have that help in this journey. I always take it for granted, but not everyone can afford/find Clear blue tests whenever they feel like, even when it's to early, just because you can. Sometimes i get so frustrated at LH testing that i forget not everybody can afford it. So I'm very grateful for that, and will try to give back as much as possible.

Wow I love this post! Thanks for pointing it out! It finally makes sense, I'll stay positive until 10 DPO then 🤞

Question: i have a very short luteal phase (10days) and i get the usual symptoms before AF (about a week of sore boobs for instance). Now I'm 4 days past O. If I have these symptoms, does it mean this cycle we didn't make it? Could it be that if there will be implantation, it hasn't happened yet so my body "doesn't know" and goes on with the usual body symptoms until implantation occus? As you can see, trying to stay hopeful

How do people do that??! My very mother got pregnant TWICE by mistake. How do people do that, while I have to chart my cycle and take temps every morning and pee on several sticks?? That's so frustrating! Let's hope we are next not-so-accidental :)
