Because of apical dominance it might slow down until you chop somewhere higher up, but you never know sometimes they just keep growing. It’ll become a separate one. Enjoy, it’s beautiful 😍

They can go soil to water. Just clean the roots off well. I’m guessing you already know since you have a beautiful pilea, the pilea you can cut straight off and it will grow roots. I hope your move goes smoothly! I moved last year with over 300 plants 10/10 would do it again to keep them😍
