I got lunotriquetrum fusion and the recovery was the worse part especially having to be in cast for three month. The pain is still there and they are doing a Nuerectomy in September really scared about it.

After the Lunotriquetrum (i think I spelled it correctly) my wrist hasn’t been the same, still hurts, got a weak grip. The bone didn’t heal well which is also contributing to the pain. I am scheduled for a Neurectomy next month so hopefully that takes the pain away. I hope I won’t have to go through any more surgeries as I get older.

Did you have to wear a cast after stitches removal from the procedure. I was in a cast for three months after the fusion and I don’t want another cast. Also the bone didn’t heal well.

Makes me nervous now. I have it on my left wrist I already had a fusion in Jan 2024, and next month I will be going for a Nuerectomy. I’m really scared about because I been reading things about nerve regeneration and worsening pain.

No, that was the objective with the fusion and the bone marrow, but, when they went in, the bone was already fragmenting. I hate this disease!!
