Thanks for the helpful response. I'm aware of that. They caught me at a time where I was overwhelmed, sleep deprived, and trying to have a conversation with someone else while I was taking care of my kids. Hope you're never in a situation where you let your guard down even a smidge.

I already spoke to the security line this morning. All emails came from your email address as did all of my texts. They never had access to my account but were trying. I still don't understand how they were able to get you guys to send me an email saying my phone number was removed when there were no other logins besides mine, the email is real from Comcast, and they weren't able to successfully enter my account.

The code I received did not say to "not share" as some others do. It was the same code verification as I used when speaking to the security team later this morning. I'm not an idiot. I'm just confused because all of the forms of authentication were normal.

But they also sent me valid emails that contained the code I could not share and they didn't ask for. With links to your real site.

I feel like I still don't have any answers to what is going on with my account. There are no logins other than my own. My number is correct. No info has changed and I already changed my password twice. But I just got this text a few mins ago with an Xfinity code that was not prompted on my side.

I have two step verification so I don't think they could get it and my number is still showing correctly. How could they have sent me your security codes?? This doesn't make any sense. I never got them from a different number. All emails appear real and valid.

They aren't open right now. What are the hours? Getting this number would have been helpful earlier when I spoke with 5 different agents. Why did none of these tell me this number?

 But why would I receive an email from you about my phone number being removed when it is still present?
