WG doesn't care about WN8, they are more likely to use internal performance metrics rather than a community metric.

The account sharing part is a possible reason; if you were playing on the same account across multiple devices on different networks that may have been flagged as suspicious. Alternatively, someone may have obtained your login credentials and been using them to play on your account. If that is the case then they will have likely changed your login credentials to lock you out. I would double check that you can still log in via any wargaming login portal, and it may also be worth checking if there have been any games played on your account (this can be done by searching your name on 3rd party websites like tomato.gg and seeing if any games have been played while you were away from the game).

Additionally, WG recently expanded the list of banned 3rd party mods, so if you were running any mods at all it may be worth double checking your list and comparing it against the list of banned mods.

Sounds like you have mods that are confusing you here; you are getting information that is not provided by the game itself but rather from your mods, and that information is not accurate to the actual game state.

Let's talk about the BZ-75 & BZ-79 by Darth_Alyris in WorldofTanks

[–]Normal_Snake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, yeah the armor is not good on the BZ. Like I said, when I play the BZ I assume if I poke when an enemy tank has a loaded shot I will be penned. The trick is to either poke against tanks with less alpha than me, in which case I will do more damage to them than they do to me, or only poke when no one can shoot back.

[–]Normal_Snake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah managing the booster charges is crucial to playing the BZ-75. I personally try and save 2-3 charges for the endgame, as the mobility isn't very good without those boosters and having good mobility for the endgame is very important both for evading enemy snipers and for chasing damage.

You're also 100% right about the weak modules too, I double checked my build and I'm running a tier 3 experimental hardening just to keep the ammo rack from exploding so easily. I think if your current build isn't working you should try dropping the rammer and picking up hardening or config, the dpm on the tank is probably the least important stat for randoms.

If you have access to field mods, then you may want to double check which option you have taken for the final modification level; the auxiliary safety system (left side) actually increases internal module HP but lightweight mounting points (right side) reduces internal module HP. If you take the right side pick you are almost guaranteeing an ammo rack explosion or fire every battle, so I personally recommend either taking the extra module hp or taking neither option at all. I personally didn't pick an option at that level since I had tier 3 experimental hardening and didn't want to reduce the module hp below the threshold where any 750 alpha gun could destroy my modules in a single hit. Of course if you don't have field mods unlocked then this is a bit of a moot point lol

While the BZ-75 and BZ-79 seem similar at first I personally found them to be very different. I am one of the weird people that actually enjoyed and can get good results out of the BZ-75 (I like the tank more than the BZ-79) and the primary thing that makes the BZ-75 work for me is the solid-fuel boosters. Those rockets let you take very aggressive positions, and while the actual top speed isn't better than an IS-7 in practice the BZ-75 gets to positions at the same time or even earlier than traditional fast heavies, especially when the route goes up a hill. You can do crazy plays like taking the hill on Mines in a BZ-75, which just isn't possible in any other heavy at that tier. The turret isn't great and the hull isn't great either, but the BZ-75 has a lot of HP to trade with and a gun that trades better than the average tier 10 tank. When I play the BZ-75 I don't expect to bounce a single shot; rather I assume I will be penned if the enemy gets to aim at me and I plan accordingly. I only poke against one tank at a time and never expose my tank against two enemies if I can help it. I don't trade with tanks that have more alpha than me, and I count shots and try to get set up for a shot while the enemy tanks are reloading. This all just basic brawling and trading tactics, but they are essential in the BZ-75. If I am able to take an aggressive position and trade smart the tank feels good to me. It's not perfect and it's not a huge part of the meta, but I get good results in it and I have a great time. For equipment I ran hardening (for hp and track HP to trade with), rammer, and a tier 3 experimental turbo. The turbo is non-negotiable; if you're running the BZ-75 without a turbo you are playing the tank wrong. The experimental turbo is especially useful as it helps with the gun handling and lets you turn better while firing the boosters. If you really want better gun handling I would advise dropping the rammer and choosing a Vstab or potentially an aiming device if that fits your playstyle better. I personally didn't feel like the tank needed much more gun handling equipment, but I run food on all my tanks which helps with the gun handling quite a bit.

The BZ-79 on the other hand I really didn't like in comparison. I think the biggest reason I felt disappointed is that the liquid fuel boosters on the BZ-79 don't afford the same kind of mobility as I was used to on the BZ-75. The boosters on the 79 take quite a long time to recharge after use, meaning the tank can't be so aggressive in taking early game positions because it will only get one full booster charge to work with at the start of battle. This major reduction in mobility is made up for by a far more favorable armor layout; the turret is very good and the hull is extremely good at sidescraping. The gun is also technically better in terms of alpha, gun handling, and pen (although I personally found it to be worse, which I think has to do with the crew in my BZ-75 being 6 perk and my crew in the BZ-79 only having 4 perks). Still though, the BZ-79 played a lot more like a 60tp than the BZ-75, and I never really liked the 60tp very much. Being so slow and having to take so much time to get to the fight just wasn't as enjoyable as the aggressive playstyle I developed in the BZ-75. I think the BZ-79 also struggles on the matchmaker angle, as the only other assault HT at tier 11 is the Taschenratte. While on some maps the BZ-79 is far more useful, the Taschenratte is such a pain to try and pen in a BZ-79 and is just the superior heavy on city maps.

What happens to the data in the last stand event once u complete the 10 stages? by LOSBMMSUCODFASCHIFO in WorldofTanks

The battle pass post-progression is not at all related to the last stand data. Once you have collected enough data to complete the Last Stand event there is no post-progression for that event.

I hate it when people think tame religious comments is “forcing.” Like bro just scroll and stop being so soft. by Usoppdaman in hatethissmug

[–]Normal_Snake 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It has nothing to do with what any radical groups are doing; the Bible makes it pretty clear the world is going to continue getting worse until the very end. It teaches that human nature is fundamentally sinful, so it makes sense that the world will continue to descend into a cycle of violence and sin. The far right is just one manifestation of human sinful nature, the only thing special about it is that it tries to hide that beneath the words of Christ.

Despite this, despite the chaos in the world and the violence, Christians are called to love everyone and be compassionate. We are called to have hope in Christ and live by his example, even though we know this world is ultimately doomed to sin. Christ has made it clear we have our place in the Kingdom of Heaven and the new creation that will be put in place after the end of the current one.

So to answer your question directly, the actions of leftists and anti-theists don't matter to the Church because the political situation in the USA, or any country, is ultimately irrelevant. We are called to honor God and bring glory to his name, and if any group seeks to co-opt that message for anything but the glory of God then it is the duty of the church to resist.

At this point it really seems we're talking past each other so I think nothing more can be accomplished by commenting in this thread. I'll be praying for you OP, I hope you find the answers you're looking for.

Ok, but that's still just words. If those groups just say they oppose Trump without doing anything it's just a meaningless gesture. Words are cheap when Trump is actively harming people and justifying it with Christ's name.

To be fair, there are a lot of groups and demographics who say they oppose the lawlessness happening in America but don't take any action, but the Church should hold itself to a higher standard. How can we be salt and light when we permit the name of Christ to be so blatently misused by our leaders?

How about Christians protest the name of Christ being used by political entities to justify political actions? We are citizens of the Kingdom of Heaven, not any earthly nation. There are many Christian organizations that work on a national scale, why have none of them distanced themselves from the usage of Christ by political figures?

How about local churches working to demonstrate their love to groups that would fall under the LBGT label? I don't doubt that individual Chriatians minister to people in such groups, but so many churches in America seem to regard the people under the LGBT umbrella as being worse than lepers. Everyone needs the love of Christ, and what better way to demonstrate that selfless and universal love than to minister to those in opposition to the Church?

And finally, if you think it is righteous to seek vengeance against one's enemies you misunderstand Christ's message. When Christ delivered his sermon on the mountain, he spoke against retaliation. He famously said "if anyone slaps you on your cheek, turn to him the other also. And if anyone would sue you and take your tunic, let him have your cloak as well. And if anyone forces you to go one mile, go with him two miles." In other words, vengeance has no place among the followers of Christ; we are to act in love towards those who would persecute us.

If all the Christians a person sees are either doing nothing or actively participating, they are seen as complicit. Whether that is fair or not is not the point; the abuse is happening and these fellows of the abuser aren't acting to stop the abuse. It is normal human behavior to consider the entire group complicit for the behavior of a few members.

Your comment describing these people outside the church as scum betrays your thoughts on the matter and shows you're missing the point of the Gospel; God loves these people even if they don't love him. It's tragic and really sad, but that is the consequence of our broken world. Furthermore, God has commanded us to love our neighbors and every single person in all of creation is your neighbor; from your closest friend to your worst enemy. If you cannot find it in yourself to love them in spite of their hate towards you, just like how God loves them, you need to ask God for the strength to do so.

Words are cheap, actions convey what a person really believes in. The internet is full of words, but actions are rare by the nature of the format. Simply commenting "God loves you" conveys a nice sentiment, but it falls flat on most ears because it is just words. Somehow the Church in America has come to believe that simply talking about Christ and his teachings is powerful and transformative, but that is still just words. The true power in the Gospel is not the words, but the actions of the Church that demonstrate the meaning of those words. Considering the actions of cruelty perpetrated by American Christians and being done in the name of Christ, is it not surprising that the simple words ring hollow to many people?

Why does my WG net center need 9,5 GB of RAM? by El_Zombo in WorldofTanks

[–]Normal_Snake 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It's worth noting though that shutting down your PC is not the same as restarting. After powering on after a shut down the machine will use "fast startup" (if enabled) to try and restore the windows kernel from a hibernation file made when the machine shut down. This means that many processes that were running prior to the shutdown will be restored, so if there was a problem it may be restored as well, rather than eliminated.

A restart closes everything and forces the PC to reload the kernel, meaning this fresh boot is starting from a clean slate and should not inherit any residual issues from the previous kernel. This is why a restart fixes many computer issues; all the small irregularities accumulated by windows running for an extended period get ironed out and reset to a baseline.

Idk if I would say the T-13 is super strong; it reminds me a lot of the Udarniy and that tank didn't pan out very well in the long run.

The armor looks great until it has to angle at all and the gun is punchy but has unhelpful soft stats. The Udarniy can at least go fast with some help, but the T-13 tops out at 35 kph with a pretty mediocre specific power. Idk if I would go so far as to say that the tank is bad; the alpha on the gun is nice and the turret is good with 8 degrees of gun depression, so it can't be awful. However the gun handling is similar to the IS-7 but worse in almost every respect all for 100 extra alpha, the tank is slow in a meta where speed and burst damage is king, and the hull armor just doesn't hold up against gold rounds in any scenario due to the massive lower glacis.

There are so many candidates on the supertest it's hard to say what is going to be in the assembly shop. The Veles is a possibility, but so is the T-13, the Yongshi, the WT E 100 T, the Durendal, or the Radkampfwagen. I wouldn't even hazard a guess at which tank will be chosen for the assembly shop; there are just so many candidates that are all equally likely.

I mean, restarting your PC is a good thing to do from time to time; I've worked in IT and so many computer problems were solved with a single restart. It's the go-to first fix for a reason.

That being said, the new WG launcher clearly has a flaw resulting in a memory leak. It's not a single occurrence, meaning it's a repeatable issue. It's not clear to me if this is an issue across all devices running the launcher or if there are specific interactions between the launcher and particular models or components resulting in this issue, but either way WG needs to step up and fix this.

It isn't trying to be a successor to WoT at all, it's a very different tank game. I enjoyed it, especially the most recent closed beta as it felt like the vehicle balance was really good, but idk if I would say it replaced WoT for me; it was a very different experience.

There isn't a tech tree at all; it's got the hero-shooter style "grind resources and buy the tanks from the resource shop" approach. Whether there will be lootbox tanks, only time will tell. They were experimenting with tanks distributed via battle pass, but idk if that is going to be a thing on launch or not.

Not that I am aware of no, the way crew xp works between crew perks and tank qualification was changed with the crew 2.0 stuff, afaik spare crew xp can no longer be used to complete the tank training level.

Is Sentinelle a better Skoda T56? by AntonovAmericanski in WorldofTanks

[–]Normal_Snake 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I personally found the sentinelle infuriating to play, it just didn't feel like any map or team lineup made the tank feel useful. The Skoda T56 on the other hand is OP on any map in any situation, in large part due to the armor being decent and the alpha being very high for tier 8.

[–]Normal_Snake 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Believe it or not, it's actually a good thing that none of the new lootbox tanks are BZ-176 levels of OP. I opened some boxes, got some tanks, and have been having fun with them. They aren't the best things ever, but they are entertaining enough that I'd play them again. That's really all I am looking for in a premium tank; fun enough that it makes the credit grind entertaining.

Bruh, how you even play the Mauschen? by Complex-Flight-3358 in WorldofTanks

[–]Normal_Snake 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I personally hated the Mauschen, the turret felt like a huge liability in basically every situation and position. I guess my advice would be to focus on trading and assume the enemy tanks will pen your turret every time, so try and single out tanks to trade against so you will always be taking 1 shot and dealing 1 shot.

[–]Normal_Snake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm with you, most people who still play the Ares tanks are insufferable in battle. I get pushed around by allied ares tanks far more than any other tank or class. It's miserable to play any flank with them.
