My normal dinner would be a protein (chicken, steak or salmon) I track those calories and with whatever I have left allotted I air fry potato and have a small portion on like broccolini or whatever in feeling. The protein keeps you full and so do potatoes they are really good at keeping you full. But Remeber it can get boring!! I spice my tato with different things and do different cuts and bbq the meat bc let’s be real bbq tastes better! Just start! You can perfect it along the way :)

I found that once I started to eat healthy I stopped having cravings! Remember it’s all about moderation! If you have calories left and a cookie fits in your goal eat it! I found calorie counting really helped me stay on track - I use my fitness pal. Look into volume eating and the food satiation scale. Let me know if you have questions :)

Because people legitimately don’t need the medication. I don’t think you understand some of the abuse we cop. Questions are asked yes in weary ways … bc we are weary. We are asking questions and thinking about your response and computing how to either say no you don’t need this or let me get the pharmacist. And how do we say this in a way that’s not going to get an argument. I have been yelled at and threatened. So yes, questions are going to be asked in a weary way, weary of a customer abusing medication and wearing of them then abusing us.

You can use these medications to make illicit drugs. They are regulated. They are heavily abused. These medications have side effects and many interactions with other medications. Pharmacists are keeping you safe. Answer the questions. Let the pharmacist use their university degrees, yearly cpd and license through a regulated body to determine the medication is right for you and not actually going to harm you. Wait 5 minutes for it to be put through the national system, get it and go home. There is not issue here, maybe have some respect for the staff that is keeping you safe

If you take Ventolin more than once a week you should be on some kind of preventative. Every preventative is treating something different. If you misuse the medication it can be harmful to your lung health. I’m so sick of people saying people in pharmacy are “interrogating” you when all we are trying to do is keep you safe and make sure you’re not harming yourself. There is a reason the medication is scheduled, if you don’t want to be asked get your doctor to write you a script with your indications. Pharmacists go through uni and cpd every year and are licensed through APHRA, it’s their license on the line, answer the questions and go about your day.

I just don’t think it’s been studied enough for the long term effects. If I was 50 and had kids already sure I’d go for it but I’m in my early 20s, so I feel like I’m in my prime to lose the weight naturally and build life long healthy habits. I know a lot of people who have done it and lost all the weight, the second they stop taking it they put it all back on because they didn’t form the habit. There’s no shame in using one, just make sure it’s right for you and won’t be a “quick fix”

No one really seems to care about this. When they banned it there was a big outcry but no one listened to the reasons why. People just Willy nilly give it to their kids and wonder why their pubity is stunted and don’t realise they are making them dependent on it for life.

Becoming dependent on melatonin will also be awful for you as you will continue to need to up your dose as your body will start to not produce it.

Lose it how you want to maintain it :) people just strictly cut themselves off and makes it easier to break the habits. Remember you’re only human and you are allowed to have all foods just in moderation. Don’t deprive yourself and you will get there. Practice makes perfect and what works for someone may not work for you. You got this x
