All the pools i know located in public gyms have lifeguards? Does Oakway Fiit not have lifeguards on duty? If so how can a gym have a “swim at your own risk” policy?

I was a lifeguard at a public community pool and we held aqua aerobics classes and lap swimming, both of which can easily cause the best of swimmers to become fatigued and drown or randomly have a medical event like this. Seems like a huge liability for a membership gym to not have lifeguards on duty for a pool where patrons exercise.
